Bijol Apartments

Perfect stay. The host gave us some home made Schnapps which was a nice touch. The apartment was clean and well presented. Great view from the balcony as well

Sve. Urednost i čistoća. Nismo vidjeli vlasnika niti ikoga ali je sve funkcioniralo savršeno. U apartmanu ne fali baš ništa. Blizina svih sadržaja. Parking je pristupačan i velik. Oko 20-30m od ulaza u apartman. Parkinga u mjestu ima u izobilju ali je brutalno skup. Više se isplati rentati Vespu u tržnom centru za 75€ po danu nego plaćati parking (ako vas je dvoje) jer je parking za motocikle besplatan. Kod hotela Krim je parking najjeftiniji — 3€, drugdje 6€ sat. Najskuplje smo platili 7.50€ sat. Check in je od 15h i mi smo na praking kod tržnog centra potrošili 18€ jer smo došli ranije, plus tri burgera i tri soka 80€. Znači 100€ za dobrodošlicu 😂. Da bismo ušli ranije u apartman aplikacija nam je ponudila da platimo 55€. Mi smo krenuli iz Zagreba oko 10h i već oko 12.30 smo bili u Bledu. Lagano, sa dva stajanja. Naš apartman je imao svoj balkon, ali susjedni nema. Ja ne bih bio zadovoljan sa tim susjednim. Moja preporuka: ako ste s autom, prevezite se preko glavne ceste do Belvedere bara (Titova rezidencija) i tamo popijete prvu kavu s pogledom. Neprocjenjivo.

Položaj televizora je previsoko i vidljiv samo sa kauča. U našem slučaju nebitno, ali ako nekome znači da zna.

Whilst the lake shore at Mlino beach is only a few minutes walk away, Bijol apartments are at opposite end of the lake to Bled town, taking around 30 minutes. But that means it’s quiet, and the area is lovely. However, when we realised that there was a FREE bus that runs around the lake (with a stop at Mlino) this was a game changer. Be sure to check out the timetable. The keypad main door was strangely a delight to use and instructions from the owners for access clear and concise. They’d also left us a postcard, fridge magnet and some homemade brandy for our stay. The kitchen is compact but had everything we needed to prepare breakfasts and a pasta based evening meal on one occasion. We did order a Bled Breakfast delivery for the first morning (advertised in the apartment) and this was well worth it. It was clean, quiet and we made it home for our stay. Lake Bled is stunning, it literally took my breath away!

Location is not convenient if you want to get supplies at a big supermarket or just nip out to a highly rated restaurant. The bed is the only place you can realistically watch the TV from. Whilst there’s plenty of bedside drawer space, the wardrobe is in the bathroom which was unusual. We also had to stash our travel bags in the dining area. It could have done with a mirror in the bedroom area, or maybe it’s just me that likes to put makeup on whilst my partner is in the bathroom. The windows are frosted glass, so there’s no view. Plus the description of a toaster actually refers to a sandwich toaster. Two very different things. Be aware that the studio’s ‘terrace’ is actually at the top of the entrance steps used by both apartments, before you go through the shared hallway / lobby area. So this doesn’t make it feel very private. The other flat has its own private balcony.
