Great location within walking distance of train station, town centre, the river, cathedral etc
Spotlessly clean, tea and coffee topped up daily
Relatively quiet on most days
Friendly staff
Good sized room with plenty of storage
The room was very hot and stuffy and there was no fan or optional sheets for bed
The bed was uncomfortable as it was made of sheets of wood in a box shape
The key for the bedroom door, internal doors, front door and gates was the same which made me feel unsafe as a solo traveller
The shared shower had a fixed head so was tricky to wash, was very small and had no temperature control

The college had a welcoming atmosphere, and although there were few people in residence, all the staff I met were friendly and helpful.
To be able to stay on the "Peninsula" in Durham, the heart of the historic city, was a special experience. It was very quiet.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Entspricht dem, was man von Aufenthalt in College erwartet.
Lage ist an sich gut, aber recht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt. Für das was es bietet, ziemlich teuer
