Comfortable reasonably priced accommodation close to Whangarei

Great view. Well equipped kitchen with a toast and egg maker that we'd never seen before! Great set of kitchen knives. Has air beds for our extra 2 people which were comfy.

Only thing was that in description it says beachfront but it wasn't. It was up a street that went down to road along seafront and had a good view since it was on an elevated section however it was not beachfront. It was close to sea front.

The vendor is amazing to deal with and I had a comfortable refreshing stay

The property is clean and comfortable and has enough beds for a family to stay. There are even spare toothbrushes. It has a view of the harbour and is at the end of a cul de sac and very close to the airport

Last minute booking to be close to family, and they allowed an early check-in.

Don't let the positive reviews fool you! There's no way this should have an 8+ rating. The place has obviously had a major leak/water issue at some stage. The rooms had a musty smell and the bathroom door was swollen to the extent it didn't close properly. This accommodation is seriously out-dated, unclean, and not worth the price, even at a discounted rate. Having stayed in numerous places all over NZ, this is one of the worst. I wish I had taken photos, but we left in the middle of the night because it was just grotty.

Beautiful, cozy and serene

It was cozy beautiful and comfy. There was also a little note welcoming our stay and thanking us for our booking I really liked that. It was especially nice for us to have somewhere last minute that was as beautiful as this place, too bad weather was sad. Loved it, really helped us be close to our dad in his final days, thank you

Very big house and a lot of space, all commodities and a nice view. The owner was always available and ready to help. It was a comfortable stay.

Not good enough for the price.

The location and view from the front of the house.

Out of date facillities, especially the bathroom. Half used soap left in bath by previous occupant. House was grubby. Blankets and pillows in second bedroom looked dirty. General decor in lounge left much to be desired. These comments are made in good faith and are similar to some other reviews. Jane needs to actually stay in a few other rental properties, so that she can see what can be provided in terms of quality, cleanliness and decor.

Quite expensive at $488 for a nights stay! For this price we would expect - fresh linen, bedding and towels. Uncluttered kitchen bench areas & bathroom. Uncluttered lounge area and simple seating areas For this price, it felt like we were actually staying in someone’s house and they had just stepped out for the night - we found the place cluttered unnecessarily with other people’s items ie: stuffed toys, used coffee/tea etc and used shampoo in bathroom, jandals and strange thick covers over settees!!

this was a beautiful unit, great base for exploring and a lovely space to return to each day.
