Palms Escape says it all. Peaceful luxury in beautiful setting.

My niece and I had a wonderful stay for 4 nights at the delightful Palms Escape. Aimee welcomed us as we arrived and told us not to hesitate to ask her if we needed anything. She was kind enough to check we were ok during a torrential NZ downpour and gave us helpful info about the town and where to find a covered car park. We appreciated the incredibly well supplied facilities, including well stocked hot drinks and bottled water, and even some fizz and chocolates in the fridge. Thank you so much. The beds were comfy, the Wi-Fi efficient, the cottage was spotless and spacious. With the palm trees and loungers outside amidst the spectacular landscape we felt we were in Paradise; perhaps we were. Highly recommend.

Quiet, spacious rural stay in Whangārei

The photos really don’t do this place justice. Tucked down a long driveway, it’s completely away from traffic noise and surrounded by acres of land with animals, a truly peaceful escape from busy Auckland. The space is far more generous than it first appears. The lower level features a huge master bedroom with a king bed, along with the laundry. Just four steps up is the main living area with the lounge, kitchen, and two bedrooms — one with a king bed that opens straight onto the deck. The deck is perfect for relaxing, with a BBQ, lounge chairs, and an outdoor table with umbrella. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, making it feel like a real home away from home. Spotlessly clean, super comfy beds, and a host who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Such a shame we couldn’t stay longer.

This place was amazing! Its was so peaceful and quiet we really enjoyed our time here, The hosts were beyond helpful and friendly, The house was immaculate and very well equipped and even had toys which my grandson loved. There was plenty of parking for our car trailer which is always a bonus! My family were disappointed when we had to leave, Would defiantly recommend this place to anyone, We will be back.

We provided our own breakfast. I liked the spaciousness and rural environment. The property was well-equipped it was very quiet and peaceful which appealed to us.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt; they were friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. Very nice stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The house is very spacious, beautifully set in a peaceful lifestyle block, yet just 10 minutes from the city centre. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and fully equipped — especially the board games and entertainment options for children, which we really appreciated. Aimee was a fantastic host, always quick to respond. We thoroughly enjoyed our night here and would love to come back!
