Peaceful, but not restful stay.

The ducks were cute and it was nice to be in a separate building from the house.

Signage to know we were on the correct property would have been nice. The patio door faces the duck pond however is also where the owners walk past. Ok but not very private. The bunk bed mattress was very thin and we could feel the boards beneath it. A few large insects and flying bugs to deal with were expected but was difficult to sleep catching some of them. The rooster continually sounding his alarm from 5:20am on was not expected or appreciated. We understand this is a working farm home but it would have been nice to know this would occur in advance.

Comfortable cottage complete with ducks on the pond.

A great modern cottage in a farmyard setting. There were ducks, geese, sheep and dogs too and we loved the baby chickens! We were visited regularly by Red the hen so we had to watch where we were walking..... So much more entertaining than spending time at the beach! There was nothing we lacked inside the cottage and the hosts were very helpful.

Awesome overnight stay, quiet, lovely host.

Beautiful setting, quiet away from main road, lots to see with the tour provided around the property, the addition of the pool was great even though we didn’t use it as we only stayed for a night and were busy out exploring most of the time.

Great four nights.

Checking in was a breeze. Following directions brought us right to the cottage. Everything set up and ready for our arrival. Met by a friendly dog and flock of ducks. We soon became with besties with the chickens. Loved the country atmosphere. Rod was most informative on where to go and what to see, both rain and shine.
