Plenty of room for 4 of us. Location was great. Just out of the CBD with a CAT bus stop down the road. Walking distance to Optus Stadium.

Even though the room was located in the Mantra building had to separately contact Mantra reception to arrange for our luggage to be left with them before check in and after check out time. Only 1 small bathroom and toilet for the 4 of us.

The rooms were spacious and kitchen was fully equipped.

The shower was too small and the shower door handle was broken.

The unit was satisfactory but not much more. Overall the available kitchenware and appliances was decent.

First impression: The whole unit stank like cooking oil - like many days to years of cooking oil not being extracted and impregnating the surfaces and furniture. Windows in bedrooms don't open, so it was very hot, humid and stuffy. The floors were not fully cleaned/vacuumed - we found multiple hair pins on the carpet. Many dishes and cutlery were not clean. The dishwasher was broken and needs a repair. The whole place is quite old and has stains everywhere on many surfaces. Hosts said they could hold your bag after checkout but then when we needed it, they said they were 'closed' on the weekend. The hosts force you to complete an online form before giving you check-in details, with all your personal identifying information, and a copy of your ID card/passport. This is very suspicious and there are no details about the security they offer to protect their data holding systems from hacking. Highly likely that your personal data will be hacked and published at some point.
