Lovely stay with a wonderful host, 10/10 would recommend!

Ida was an exceptional co-host who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had the best possible experience. She provided assistance whenever needed, took the time to pick us up from the port and drive us to the property, and was always flexible and responsive to our requests. She also shared great recommendations for local food spots and walking trails, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed. The property itself was very clean, well-equipped, and very cozy. Its location was also really good. It was conveniently close to a bakery and supermarket, and within a pleasant walking distance to the Port of Bellagio. We initially thought the walk would be much longer, but it turned out to be a lovely and scenic route. Walking back home was especially enjoyable in the nice weather, with beautiful trails along the way.

Super host, clean, comfortable

All facilities were available, good option to cook, shower was good, washing facilities available and warm as travelled during autumn.

It was slightly further away from Bellagio centre than anticipated. But we had a fabulous host who was available throughout our stay. We used a short cut and enjoyed our walk down to the centre.

Great location, clean and tidy apartment, beautiful views of Lake Como

Property was great, had everything we needed. In a lovely quiet area. Ida was so helpful with information, advising best places to go to and where to eat. Also with public transport tips. The apartment was very clean.

Nothing we didn’t like, only my husband struggled with the hills due to arthritis but we managed. No bad reflection on the apartment just his mobility issues.

Cozy apartments in a non-touristy part of the city

Cozy apartments in a non-touristy part of the city — peaceful and surrounded by nature. A bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us in the fridge, and coffee was readily available. A big plus is the washing machine.

It takes about 30 minutes to walk uphill from the ferry to the apartment. There’s a grocery store about 15 minutes downhill, but it’s a bit harder to walk back with shopping bags. The washing machine leaks, the bathroom door doesn’t close completely, and the toilet makes a squeaky noise.

Ideal rural location above Belagio, easy walk (up a hill) from town/ferry with great host

Ida our host was super helpful. met us to give us a welcome briefing and hand over the keys, even though our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive at the apartment until well after 10pm. She then came in the next morning and gave us a more thorough briefing. She also sent us helpful WhatsApp message which we used a lot with things like locations of supermarkets and recommented restaurants, one click away. We couldn't get the TV to work one night and she was straight onto it. We loevd the location - it was ideal for us - 30 minutes walk to/from Belagio, with a beach to swim in every day at the bottom of the hill. It's a lovely apartment set in the eves with a balcony that gets the morning sun and looks over roof tops and the lake in the distance. It's a rural setting and we woke to the crowing of cockrells and bleating of goats. There's a lovely garden out the back, where we lay in the morning sun, enjoyed the view, talked and enjoyed our local pastries and coffee. We got a park right out side the apartment and walked everywhere all week. There is also parking under the garden at the back. Others may not like walking up the hill every day back to the apartment, in which case Ida pointed out where there would be free parking nearer Bellagiop that we could have driven to every day and saved some of our walk.

A beautiful apartment with everything you needed, spacious and lovely decor. Lovely host who walked us through everything we needed to know and checked in with us twice.

Unfortunately we had some wet weather for our stay so we didn’t do as much walking as usual. The apartment is 30 minutes walk away from Bellagio town and at the top of a hill, so not for everyone. Forget parking in or anywhere near town so it’s a must walk.

Good size well equipped apartments Great welcome with lots of information about restaurants, taxis and beaches. Well equipped. Beautiful views. Lovely garden.

Crane outside property, essential water works being completed at the time of the whole stay. I understand this was of no fault of the owners. We were told the water was due to be shut off on the second day of stay but it didn’t get shut off until the 5th day which was unexpected and inconvenient. No water from 12.45 until 5 pm. Owners apologised. Dust from the new drain being built blew up onto the balcony so we could only sit in the balcony when the workmen were not at work. Only suitable for travellers who were fit enough to walk at least 2 miles. Some paths very steep and uneven. Taxis very limited and bus services limited

It was overall an amazing stay.

It was overall an amazing stay. Ida was kind and very helpful with everything. She gave us many advices. In the room there are maps and list with all neccesary information about the accomodation and surronding. We used a garage for 20 euros per night, because the streets and parking situation around is not really suitable for a big car. The garage is just 3 minute walk from the apartment and is set in a garden with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. We had dinner at the garden once since it is equipped with chairs and tables. Room was spacious, very well equipped and clean. The only little problem was the humidity, but a dehumidater is provided so it wasnt really an issue. There is a supermarket nearby, but you have to walk uphill on your way back. The center of bellagio was around 2 km downhill, but if you are a good walker there is no problem walking to the center and back. We would definitely stay there again.

Very good

It had a elevator to access upper floors, and Air Conditioning! Very bright and clean, with everything we needed (except shampoo). Bed was comfortable. Access to a garden to relax or picnic, with a view of Bellagio and Lake Como. (A Short climb up a path ) We were met by Ida, and explained everything. Information provided regarding places to eat and shop near by.

We loved the flat. It was spacious, bright and well equipped. Everything was super clean and easy to access. The view from the balcony is lovely. Common parking spaces are available. Ida is super nice and welcoming. She made sure we’re okay all the time and was really easy to communicate with.

The Wifi is barely existent. If you’re planning on remote working, you’re not in the right place.

The property is super clean. Ida was very helpful and welcoming. It’s a cozy space in a very typical house in this region. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Very clean, nice and modern and lots of facilities. The owners are amazing and so friendly and happy to help with anything you need.

The location is further outside of the centre of Bellagio and a bit of a tricky walk up a steep hill in the heat to get back. Would recommend hiring a car as public transport isn’t the most reliable and taxi’s are scarce.

there is nothing to not like about the property, it’s a bit of a walk from Bellagio centre but it’s way to get Great Lake views and walk past the quirky Bellagio lanes you wouldn’t see if you were staying in the centre.

This is a gem of a property away from the crowds. Highly recommended.

The property is exceptionally clean, very comfortable and perfectly decorated. It is a relaxing place to be and in a quiet location outside of the pace of Bellagio’s central area. There is a very nice and very large private garden area that overlooks Menaggio and Varenna. We spent our evenings there and did the 25-30 walks to and from Bellagio every day. The entire building is great, the elevator is convenient to move bags. Air Conditioning was nice to have. We liked the location because we wanted a more “local” feel and not a hotel in a resort. The owner is very sweet and we enjoyed our visit with her. Ida, the manager, is excellent and efficient and a great communicator who even would check in with us. A great place to take a break and slow down. We would stay again without hesitation. Bring your walking shoes. If you are not the type to like walking from neighborhood to neighborhood, this may not be your place. We did have a car.

Don’t plan a “work trip” from this property. Go there to not work. There is wifi, but the speed would be too slow to be efficient. I managed running a business for a few days by using technology that didn’t require high speed streaming. Calls, emails, texts all fine.

Biking at Bellagio

Nice place if you enjoy living at some distance from a crowded city. Activities and sights are easily reachable by bike or a car. Walking from the city up to the apartment is good for those seeking some extra training! The 1st floor apartment was nice, clean and well-equipped. The host was very kind and helpful.
