Although small, it was recently updated with well thought-out and pleasing to the eye features. It has everything you could possibly need in a holiday apartment. Very near to the old Lyon, the Cathedral and the funiculars.

The view from the window, charm and size, closeness to centre of old town, Roman amphitheatre and la fouvrere.

No Aircon, fan needed a longer power lead, no microwave. Steep cobbled access road, need a taxi to drop you off at the door if possible.

The studio is very beautiful and clean, spacious, and fully equipped. There is a comfortable bed with nice bedding. The view of the old town is wonderful. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Small grocery shops in the old town are within walking distance, as well as several bars and restaurants nearby. The representative of the company managing the studio replies very quickly to all messages. Thank you!

On the downside: the studio is located in the hills on the edge of the old town. You cannot drive directly to it, and finding a parking spot for the car takes quite some effort. Parking is extremely expensive: 10 hours of street parking costs €55. Parking is free in the evenings from 20:00 to 09:00, and on weekends. Therefore, if you want to stay from Monday until Wednesday morning at 09:00, it will cost €110. The studio is suitable for people without mobility issues who travel light, for example only with a backpack. The owners should also update the information: it is not a two-bedroom apartment but a studio, where the sleeping area, living area, and kitchen are all in the same space. Deposit €350 will be back at your account after 10-15 days…. Since there was no prior warning about the parking problem, nor any information that the studio cannot be reached by car, I can only give a rating of 5.
