About this house rental
Twenty-five minutes from downtown Mendocino, on the crest of Middle Ridge, you'll enjoy 30 acres of total privacy overlooking the valley to the ocean below: This is a new listing for our gently used second home, with a modern design framing sweeping views from every room. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 private half baths with a large walk-in conjoined shower. As we often have guests, we have purchased the most comfortable of solid foam American Leather couches, which fold out in the second bedroom and living room for a total of 6 people. (an additional floor futon is available for a little one ).
The kitchen is fully furnished and for holidays, with two ovens and anything else you might need for roasting or baking. Sheets, towels and basic soaps and paper products are also supplied. Wi-Fi has a strong signal and there is a large smart TV. And when in season, you can take advantage of the best fresh produce around as we are just up the lane from LR Farms, where you can walk for your choice of garden delights.
Albion is approximately 10-15 minutes minutes from Navarro River Redwoods State Park, Van Damme State Park, Big River Beach at Mendocino Headlands, Crown Hall In, and Russian Gulch State Park. Boat rentals and river access are available locally.
We are 15 minutes up from the highway off a private road spotted with lovely quiet neighbors and a nearby llama farm. After a long day of hiking, return for a spectacular view, almost always above the fog, and dine indoors or out on the deck.

We had a wonderful time staying here over the Thanksgiving Holiday. My family didn't want to leave! The property is just the right size and I can't describe how amazing the view is over looking the forested valley with the ocean just beyond. The photos in the listing do not do it justice. Magical sunsets, incredible starry nights...it's always right outside the beautifully large windows.The host was so nice and even left us freshly-picked apples from the nearby farm. The house is the best stocked VRBO we've ever stayed at, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. If you are hesitant about the location and drive to the property...don't even worry. It's literally a 10minute scenic drive from HWY 1. Perfect homebase for exploring Mendocino, Fort Bragg and all the coast access points.We would 10/10 recommend and my family wants to come back in the summer.

This was such a great place! From the fully equipped kitchen to the updated home and great views, it was lacking absolutely nothing. Would highly recommend and hope for availability if we visit the area again!!

Great home with a beautiful view. Kitchen has everything you need. A great home base with short drives to nearby towns for hiking, beach adventures, and good food/wine.
