Located 8-miles from the trendy tourist town of Mendocino, this home is in the private gated community of Pacific Reefs, half a mile from Albion Grocery. Wrap-around decking to sit outside and enjoy the sea air and serenity of the California Coast in a very quiet and private cul de sac. Pacific Reefs is central to 5-star dining, shopping, beach, hiking, and ocean activities all within a few miles drive. Minimum 3-night stay. Sleeping space for 8 people maximum - perfect for two families to share a vacation together!

Property was spacious and beautiful - perfect for our group of friends staying the weekend! The windows facing the ocean and quiet neighborhood were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only issues we had were the grill didn’t work and the master bathroom door kept getting jammed. Wasn’t too big of a deal but would be nice to have them fixed. Otherwise everything was perfect and would stay again!

We (5 senior adults) had a nice time at this property, we were staying for a wedding near by. As others have mentioned the house is a bit dated, but very comfortable. We did wish there was another armchair or two in the living room so everyone did not have to squish onto the couch (lots of space so could easily fit more chairs). Unfortunately the fog prevented us from enjoying the ocean views except for an hour or so on our last morning. The beds/pillows were pretty comfortable for most of us. Kitchen is very well equipped and has many spices, however the salt was missing for our stay. The coffee maker should probably be replaced as it takes 30 minutes to make a pot of coffee and doesn't use all the water (leaves almost 2 cups that you need to pour out and pour on the grounds manually) and it is also very noisy for the 30 minutes. Wi-Fi info we were given in check-in instructions was incorrect, however Stacey responded immediately to my question and let us know info was on the back of the router. As a heads up some of us had cell service (AT&T and others did not (T-Mobile). Did enjoy seeing deer on many occasions and a huge family of deer (at least 10) right outside our window! The hot tub was enjoyable, but the darn fog prevented any star gazing! Note for seniors or mobility challenged folks it can be a bit difficult to get in and out of the hot tub as it is flat to the top of the deck. Overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay! The location is perfect—it's so easy to access and a quick drive to Mendocino. The space is lovely and spacious, and the owner was very easy to reach and communicate with. The only suggestion we have for future guests is to upgrade the towels and some of the kitchen items. Otherwise, it's an amazing place to stay and we would definitely come back!

This property description while not technically wrong but is misleading. It is a oceanfront property in the sense that you can see the ocean from home but at a distance, you can access the coast because there are a lot of other homes between this property and the ocean and all the open space you see in the picture is other peoples private property. Host also charged us 400 for a carpet stain that she reported a week after we left and just charged my card without engaging with us to assertain that it happened during our stay. Luckily we were able to get it back by reporting it to Vrbo. Property wasn’t super clean - a lot of cob webs throughout the house and on furniture outside.On the positive side - kitchen was decently stocked with spices etc and house had a bunch of fun games.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as advertised and the views were stunning. It's very close to the town of Mendocino and Fort Bragg and there's even a small grocery/shop less than a mile away, in case you run out of wine, like we did. :)Also, the hot tub was hot and clean with those same wonderful romantic views. Hint, the stars come out at night like nothing you've ever seen before.Oh, and we saw that fox on a night hike!Book it and enjoy everything the area has to offer.

House had at least 5 leaks; 3 over one of the beds and 2 in the living room. Had to sleep on the floor in the living room and offered no compensation. Location is beautiful. Lots of deer near property and good view of the ocean. If you’re ok with camping then you can tolerate this property if not during the rainy season.

Check in and communication was easy. We got to the house and followed all the instructions that were correct and easy to access. Unfortunately, as soon as we opened the door we were hit with a terrible smell of mold and horrible air freshener that I am guessing they put in thinking it would cover the smell. My guy said did you look at the reviews on this place? I had looked at many properties before renting this one so I thought maybe I missed something on this one. I got on my phone and scrolled back to 2022 and not one mention of a smell. Seriously it was so bad that my eyes started watering and throat felt like it was closing. The following morning we left for the day and turned the heat on and opened all the windows which helped. By check out we had cleared out most of the smell. Our inlaws came while we were out and texted they could smell through the open window before they even went in. There is a nice hot tub but make sure to bring your bathing suits because there is no privacy screen and the tub is at the back of the house where everyone in the neighborhood can see you. Location is great, the sunsets are great. We even had a herd of deer slumber through the field. There are tons of hummingbirds that were out feeding at dusk on the flowers by the deck. Was very peaceful and very quiet neighborhood. If it weren't for the smell we would have given 5 stars. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, lots of towels and paper products.

Had a wonderful time in a wonderful home. We had my brother and his wife visiting from Scotland. Enjoyed the rugged beauty of the area. We saw deer, foxes and birds every morning from the deck. The hot tub and BBQ were great after our adventures at the beaches, Van Damme Park and of course the Skunk Train. We would stay there again.

My family stayed at this property for 4 nights. When we arrived there were ants everywhere. I contacted the host to see if there were traps, she apologized and said she'd get back to me. We bought our own ant traps in Mendocino the next day. What bothers me more than the ants is that she didn't check back in with us.

The Albion is peaceful and quiet with close proximity to Mendocino and all of the area's natural beauty. The property has three bedrooms with comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. We had a relaxing stay.

My family of 5 arrived late in the evening and there was zero reception or any places open. Once we got to the gate it seemed to be off. It was not it was user error. Once in we were welcomed by a skunk who was the most adorable thing and our kids were very excited to see one! The house is older but very cozy and comfortable feeling. Everything worked great! The wood burning fireplace was amazing and the long bench seat in front of the window made for the best views! It poured all day Saturday but we enjoyed the beautiful coast line views, the hot tub and relaxing by the fireplace reading and playing games. The next day we were able to get out to Russian state park and hike fern canyon to the waterfall! I can’t explain how beautiful that hike and park is! It’s a must see! We had lunch in Mendocino and came back to soothe our muscles in the hot tub before it opened up and poured on us again. The large living room was amazing for our kids to play in and the outside property was perfect for games of tag and watching the deer walk by and climbing trees. We cannot wait to come back! It was seriously gorgeous and the best trip!! The host is so easy to get ahold of as well and returns emails asap!

This rental was perfect for our family of 5 adults for exploring the Fort Bragg - Mendocino areas. The kitchen isn’t huge but is well equipped. Everything was clean and in good working order. The beds were all comfy with nice linens. The hot tub with great star gazing was a nice treat after a long day of hiking. The sunsets are of course stunning. Best nearby activities were Mendocino Botanic Gardens, hikes in Jug Handle and Russian Gulch, wine tasting in Philo along 128.

3 of us stayed at the Kramer getaway to celebrate a birthday. 8 other fellow travelers stayed at the Albion River Inn. We enjoyed the hot tub every morning, cozy fires and easy meals between hikes around the neighborhood and to Big river, Little river, wine tasting in Philo and Boonville, lunch at Mendocino. It was all spectacular but the most cherished times were hanging out in the spacious Kramer living room with the most amazing view of trees, rocks and ocean. At night, we had lil dance parties with the windows acting as mirrors so we could enjoy our moves. Stacey is a great communicator and we deeply appreciated our chat to hear the special history of the house. We will be back as often as we can! There is not another place like it in the Mendocino coast.

Our stay was amazing. The house was exquisite -just as described, very cozy, spotless and complete. We couldn’t be happier about location, which is convenient to everything but also secluded enough to guarantee a peaceful stay. I need to mention that the view is stunning - I loved sitting by the window with my cup of coffee on the morning and enjoy the ocean view. Stacey is the best host I’ve had. She was very responsive, detailed. We left our staff at the house and Stacy send it back to us. I can’t say enough how much we appreciate Stacey! We give this house 5 stars. Can’t go wrong with this place!
