A lovely experience all around.
Cozy, impeccably clean. Seriously incredible views. The property managers were very helpful in making it a warm and memorable experience. We would absolutely love to go again and highly recommend this gem of a home.

Beautiful chalet with breathtaking views – highly recommended! We had a fantastic time at Chalet Rüthchen. The house is tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and perfectly equipped – you can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail went into it. The location is peaceful and with two parking spaces, with an incredible view of the mountains. A real highlight was the cozy living area with a fireplace – perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Our children also felt completely at home. An ideal place for families or friends who want to experience Grindelwald while enjoying peace and comfort. We would love to come back!

Wonderful, enjoyed each and every moment
Our stay at Chalet Ruthchen was absolutely wonderful. The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the Eiger and the snow-covered valley—it felt like stepping into a winter postcard! What makes this place truly special is its history. At over 300 years old, the chalet has a charm you just can’t fake. The wooden beams, cozy atmosphere, and traditional Alpine design make it feel like a real piece of the mountains, yet it’s been thoughtfully updated with modern comforts. The fireplace quickly became our favorite spot, perfect for warming up after a long day on the slopes. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal—just a short drive to Grindelwald and the ski lifts, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful. We spent our days skiing and exploring, and every evening, we looked forward to coming back to the chalet to unwind. This place truly made our trip special. If you’re looking for an authentic Swiss chalet experience with incredible views and easy access to the slopes, this is it. We’re already dreaming about coming back!
