Overall It was a great stay. We enjoyed it.

It's a beautiful location. Walkable distance from the bus stop in elder person with you. It's a steep walk. There is a walk via road as well but that is also uphill. Great location for folks with car. Busses in Grindelwald stop at 6:45 P.M so your option is only Taxi which has a wait period. We enjoyed staying there because we were 8 of us. We cooked breakfast and got dinner's home. enjoyed the meals while watching the nature with some nice drinks. You don't get this atmosphere in the hotel room. We came home last for two days but we did take a taxi and some of the kids took a walk of 1.2 miles from the train station. Owner was nice and came and met us. Came and walk us thru the facility. Has an elevator and also washer dryer. Property is safe and clean.

As I said the walk from bus stop is uphill and it is not for folks who have elder people in the group and has no car. In addition to that you have to take your own trash bags and any recycle items to the central dumpster located by the bus station. This is a tedious task is you don't have a car. I wish they would have let us keep the trash in the garage. This was the biggest pain point for us. If possible reach there before 6 on day 1 to understand and take the bus.

The property is nice, clean, and well equipped with what we need. Couple light bulbs were out, I messaged the host and he even took some time to swing by to checked out. Great view, and it was very convenient if you want to spend some time near Jungfrau hiking or other activities.

The property is uphill, so it can be hard for senior to take a walk outside. Even walking to the trash collection area was pretty steep downhill. But, for adults who like to walk and hike, it may not be an issue. It took me couple days to get used to it, and it’s really good exercise. We drove a big van and the winding road to the property was a bit scary at the beginning, but after couple days it was okay as we got used to it, just need to drive carefully.

it’s not a ‘dislike’ , more an observation….. it would be better if wood for the lovely fire was included …. there’s a really steep hill and without transport it would be extremely difficult to carry up .

We had a great stay in this beautiful appartement.

The view is marvellous and can be be enjoyed on the large sunny terras. The kitchen is well equipped. And the elevator from the garage to into the appartement is very convenient.

Nice and beautiful apartment, no issues inside the apartment whatsoever.

The apartment is located on a small hill, so getting to the bus stop requires going about 30 meters down. Unfortunately the route is very bad (muggy/icy ground with handrails in some places, very slippery and somewhat dangerous in bad weather or in the mornings). So, it's extremely inconvenient to go down and up there, especially with small kids. It would be great if the apartment complex spent some money into either upgrading their way down (e.g. installing a metal mesh staircase would help greatly), or, maybe, negotiating with neighbors to allow use of their staircase by the guests(a nearby complex has a staircase that is in much better shape but is marked as "private"). Also, there was not enough snow so ski-in/ski-out wasn't working as the resort run was closed and not passable with skis.
