Parking was straightforward. The rooms are in need of refurbishment and the mattress was pretty lumpy. Our TV didn't work but the receptionist was incredibly helpful and eventually moved us to an alternative room. Location can't be faulted. Breakfast was fairly basic but no particular complaints.

Great hotel. Staff were good but let down with restaurant weekend staff that could have done more. I kinda felt they didn't make an effort asking a colleague or finding out to andwer my questions instead of just saying "I don't know"
Got my simple request wrong 3 times which was a shame. In the end I didn't insist anymore as I felt will just add to my stress.

Breakfast needs more choice especially the fruit, the pears were hard as rock, no bananas, no fruit salad. No beans for ages, they need to keep an eye on the hotplates. Invest in a coffee machine so there's a variety. Maybe also a bell at the downstairs bar.

The staff are wonderful. Reception team and the bar staff. Yes the whole property could so with a refurb but it was absolutely sufficient for myself and my daughter. The rooms are huge! Breakfast was good and the location is brilliant for the zoo.
