Lovely hotel / aparthotel situated in downtown Rio easily assessable from the VLT system ( tram) that links the area to central & various tourist sites Decent sized modern rooms , good wifi. Good buffet breakfast . Great staff throughout the establishment but a special mention must go out to Clieton on reception who resolved an issue very professionally that occured in the breakfast area Would highly recommend this hotel even if the surrounding area looks a bit sketchy. If you dont want to walk locally use uber wjicb is extremely cheap in brasil

If you are prepared to stay away from all the touristy areas this hotel is ideal as its reasonably priced, nice size clean modern rooms. Good wifi service Very good helpful staff especially the excellent Cleiton on reception who resolved an issue i had in the breakfast area The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Nearest VLT station( tram) that has good links to tge Rio Metro ( subway) & various tourist attractions

I hated that I only booked one night in Rio and this hotel. The ambience was perfect, the view, everything and the staff amazing. It was great the receptionists spoke English as well. Will definitely rebook as it's easily accessible to the Novo Rio Terminal. Didn't wanna leave the hotel... Superb Breakfast

This hotel should only be for layovers. Then only good thing about the hotel is that it’s not too far from GIG airport and it close to public transportation, if that’s ur preferred option to get around Rio. The restaurant is sub-par , the only good are the sandwiches. And don’t even get me started on the AC. It barely works, it’s was so hot at nights that we could barely sleep, as the air barely blows and it wasn’t blowing any cold air . We advise that front desk, and they move us to a different room, but it was the same thing. There were ants in the bathroom. I was over this hotel, I checked out a day early and head back home. A 4 day trip turn into a 3day trip. The towels were torn and raggedy. The mini bar was ok. The breakfast was also sub-par , it was the same thing every morning, after the second morning, I stop going. I would give the hotel a 2 star rating, And I would definitely Not recommend for long stays.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this hotel has been the worse. The images look spectacular, but ut's not even close. The room was dirty, full of insects, the soap was never refilled, and the hotel overall had some weird policies: they will never call for a taxi, they won"t allow you to take even a banana from the breakfast buffett upstairs, plus the breakfast is very limited. The swimming pool looks unfinished and the area around is very dodgy and noisy.

Maintenance of the hotel is not the best one. There is a “heavy air” in the room and toilet. Ventilation is missing. Also the area is not safe, so you are basically locked in your room.

The property itself is fairly new nice and clean but only valley parking available and and no street parking whatsoever. the reception is on the fourth floor makes it very inconvenient. The neighborhood is a low end with an upcoming developments, therefore, a lot of construction.

The rooftop swimming pool and outdoor area has great views of the mountains and city. The free breakfast buffet was good and the paid lunch buffet was good and reasonably priced.

I stayed here to celebrate my parents’ honeymoon and our last two nights in Brazil together. I’d arranged a special treat in their room, confirmed multiple times, yet it wasn’t delivered as promised. When I asked the concierge, they mentioned it should’ve been arranged directly on Intercity’s site due to full capacity. Since I enjoy using Expedia, I didn’t see the need to book through the hotel’s site. The treat did eventually arrive, but only well into our stay, which felt disappointing. Additionally, my room’s air conditioning didn’t work on the first night and was only fixed just before check-out. I later learned the previous guest had the same issue, so it was already known to the staff. On the positive side, breakfast was great, the common areas were lovely, and the night crew – concierge, maintenance, and valet – were attentive and professional.

The receptionist at first lied to me saying she was going to provide a room with a view, as long as I waited longer for check in. However after she failed to do that, and I talked to the manager, he gave me the room with a view. This hotel also did not allow me to bring guests in my room unless I paid extra fees and waited in the lobby for a long time. Other than that food and price is reasonable
