    Well maintained hotel with complimentary luggage transfer service. I can unload the luggage at Customers service and go for lunch or shopping before check in hour at 4pm, and the staff will help to send in our luggage. Thanks for kind consideration and this is a nice place to stay. I will come back to this hotel chain again for their super good service and reasonable price in Kyoto.

    I would stay here next time when we are back in Kyoto. Prepare to walk about 1km for a check-in office (Guest Service Center).

    Check-in process was smooth. The friendly staff helped us to process the documents. While waiting, my children could rest at the waiting area. They accept card and cash for the city tax payment. They even arranged a dispatch to deliver our luggage from the guest house (the office) to our room after the check-in. In case you are unsure how to walk to your room, you can scan the QR code on the card given by the staff, to see the map and direction. When walking into the room, we saw 4 bottles of water and some coffee & tea sachets placed on the table top for us. Fridge, kettle, hair dryer, TV, washing machine and microwave function well. Spacious room, we left our 1 big and 2 small luggage opened on the floor and still able to walk. Toilet and bathroom are separated, this is convenient when there are 2 people can do different business at the same time. After a long day of walking and back to the room, we could relax on the sofa (not on the floor, nor on bed). The room doesn't have curtain, as we went out quiet early in the morning, and we were ok with bright and shine. Anyway, just a little suggestion, maybe can install some kind of shade or blinds for customer who prefer to sleep in a darker room. We found 2 types of hangers, this is so sweet as we did need different hanger for different clothes. However, it will be good if can install one more retractable stainless steel clothesline for more hanging choice. There are convenient shops nearby, so don't have to worry if you want to something to eat or to use. Besides that, you can find Avanti shopping mall just few streets away, and the big Aeon mall is further down the road. Another choice is the Kyoto Station, big and full with different tenants. Comfortable bed and pillows, we fell asleep in seconds after a long day of walking. Lastly, we had a good stay for a 3-day trip in Kyoto.

    Check in was smooth and staff were friendly and courteous. The luggage service was good but the place wasn’t too clean. It was dusty, carpet felt pretty filthy . All in all, not a very clean place. If you can afford it, book a better one! Discount the price, discount the quality!
