    I had an incredible stay in thi hotel. The room was quite spacious, the welcome teas were delicious, the location was convenient as it was close to Kyoto Station (Shinkansen gate) and 7-11, and the staff was very helpful when I asked about the early check-in availability through email, a day upon my arrival at this hotel. While I could do an early check-in in the morning, hours before the check-in time, I chose to put my luggage in the locker. Which was safe enough due to the lock availability for my luggage in the locker. And the smell; I think this is the highlight of the hotel. The reason why I had a great stay here is because of the smell. I liked how it made myself calm. Overall, I had a comfortable stay in the hotel. I totally recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to have a great night in Kyoto. If you wish to visit teamlab, this hotel becomes more recommended for you as teamlab is a walkable distance from the hotel!

    The location is great and the staff are very friendly. They always have interesting mini events on the first floor like sake tasting or incense sampling. The rooms are very clean, too.

    Highly satisfied with our experience! Conveniently located next door to teamLab Biovortex, and only a short walk from the train station. We drove there, but were able to find a paid parking 🅿️ on the same corner of the main intersection that was reasonably priced and cheaper than the others in the area! I had originally booked one night, but during our roadtrip, we decided to stay an extra night, so I booked a second night the day before our check-in. I informed the staff at check in, and they kindly combined the two separated reservations allowing us to stay in the same room for 2 nights! Really thankful for this kindness! The room was excellent! Very clean, updated and comfortable. The essential oils hygiene products were really nice too! And we were even gifted a car scent card upon checkout. They also provided a range of teas to choose from which my daughter and I enjoyed. Will definitely be staying with Kansei in the future!
