We had a fantastic stay. Good service. Nice modern and clean. Easy parking. Excellent breakfast. Good beds (slightly on the hard side) The real BONUS with this place is the roof terrace with stunning views overlooking the roof tops of surrounding buildings in the village.

We stayed in Traben-Trarbach to visit the Bernkastel Weinfest, to which we travelled on the regular passenger ferry along the delightful Moselle river. The Golden Traube was only a short walk from the ferry stop, and was close to numerous restaurants and cafes in Trarbach. It was an excellent base to explore the area and the towns.
