Very clean and tidy place. The staff was very helpful when I got there and was having problem with the code. I’ll recommend it anyday. They’ve a very clean kitchen and fridge, though I did not use it as I was on a business trip.

Room was very clean, including clean sheets and towels, the area doesn't have any dining options, but at least there are convenience stores nearby, overall a good experience, host gave the instructions and codes on time.

The lady who runs the place appears to be a fradulent person. She rented out my room even before I got to Southampton by 6pm because she repeatedly told me that I had no confirmation because I booked through a Expedia. Please find a summary of my email to her on 23/01/2025. Dear Madam It is obvious that you intentionally denied me the use of the hotel eventhough I had paid for two nights. Yesterday being the first night which was 22/01/2025, when I got to the guest house at about 6pm ( Find attached a picture of the guest house ) I called your number and whoever responded told me I did not have a booking confirmed and despite all efforts to convince the person that I did even after giving him my names, he still insisted that I did not have a confirmed booking. I eventually left as I was desperate to find a place for my wife and I to rest our heads. I eventually spoke to you late in the night and I expressed my dissatisfaction. You requested me to go to the App and cancel my booking which you had earlier claimed never existed. You followed up with a text message saying you cannot allocate the room if I do not cancel it to which I responded to you by saying I do not know how to cancel it. This morning I sent you an email informing you of my intention to use my room for the night left and which you responded by telling me you were asleep and would revert which you never did. I sent you my wife's ID card as requested only for my wife to get to your guest house this e

I booked the guest house on 2nd April to stay on the 13th April just for a one night stay due to going on a cruise early the next day. I paid on the same day. I was sent an email by the guest house itself telling me I had to confirm my identity by sending a photo of my passport and let them know what time I would arrive. Which I did. In the email it also said I would be sent the code for the main door and my room at 2pm on the day of arrival. My son took me from Nottingham to Southampton and we arrived at 3pm but I had still not received the code for the door. I phoned several times to ask for the code and got no reply. So my son would not leave me until I gained entry. Eventually someone called Monica sent me a text saying text me. To which I asked for the codes she asked me if I had received a welcome email I told her I hadn’t so she sent me a copy of the email she had sent at the time of booking. All she kept saying was you have had it. She eventually said that I had not sent the copy of my passport I explained that I had and my son sent her a screen shot of it and she sent me the code after being outside of the guest house for 90 minutes. I was furious as my son needed to get back to Nottingham as soon as he could. There was no apology from her just that we had crossed wires. If she hadn’t received it why didn’t she contact me prior to my arrival.
