Great find especially considering it was last minute due to another hotel canceling our reservation due to closing down the hotel because of Covid. They had an available room that night for 6 nights for us and all last minute!

On a business trip, I was welcomed in this nice cosy and charming place. Bedroom was like in a chalet, feeling in the mountain. Though the fitness ceiling was in renovation, I was kindly allowed to go to the gym to exercise on the treadmill. Thanks a lot for the lovely stay and the wonderful breathtaking view at breakfast. Location and room highly recommended.

The staff, locarion and rooms are exactely what you can expect when booking a 4 star in Crans Montana. The wooden roomas with balcony are decorated with simple and chic tasre, the room was super clean and very spacious. The food is also excellent and breakfast (we had our in the room) is perfectly served. If I have the opportunity to go to Crans Montana again I will 100% book my stay there again. For me it is a 4 star PLUS hotel. Amazing service.

We stayed with the family for one weekend and were very warmly welcomed. The hosts were friendly, spoke the different languages fluently and were very helpful. We had a room on the ground floor with limited view, but the room was very clean and big enough for four (for a short stay). The access to the spa and swimming pool was excellent, with only a few metres walk. For the people who need to look their e-mails, WIFI was free and worked as you can expect for this type of places. To avoid going out again in the evening, we decided to have dinner in one of their restaurants, what was a good choice (but not a cheap one.). What could be slight better is the size of the parking lot as well as the fact that we had only two sets of peignoirs, instead of four.

The room was very small, lot smaller than what I expected from the photos. Furniture is kinda old but it is authentic for the environment we were in and it definitely has the Swiss/mountain atmosphere. Breakfast was very good and selection was nice, except there were not vegetables which I find weird. However, I had breakfast and coffee with view and was very happy. Shoutout to Spa and pool with amazing view! I got my drink and really enjoyed relaxing by the pool looking at the mountains. It could be very nice in the summer as well with the outdoor pool.

L'Etrier is a very good hotel with spectacular mountain views over the valley. These are perfect from the restaurant/ bar area. Not all rooms have been upgraded(August 2015) and you pay accordingly. Hotel staff are first class and I suspect it is privately run.
