I stayed here 4 nights. I stayed here 4 nights. The communication was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and extremely centrally located. 10 min walk from the bus station and 2 min walk from the main square where all taxis were. The only thing was that you are only given 1 room key card and if you lose that you get charged 50 euros or if you forget the key you need to call the person in charge of the front desk to let you in. This place functions more like an Airbnb than an actual hotel. But I stayed here 4 nights. The communication was excellent. We really enjoyed the Maison Marie - but I do want to share a couple of issues.
The Maison Marie was the 10th location we stayed at on a very long trip. My husband and I were traveling with our teenage daughter. When I booked - I must have accidentally left it as 2 people instead of 3. BUT I did book the Junior Suite - so there was plenty of room and an extra bed. When we checked in we were told that to add her to the room would be 360 Euros ($417) for 3 nights (literally for one extra set of towels)!! We were shocked and I argued about the exorbitant extra cost The staff member then told us "I guess you could have her stay somewhere else in Sorrento by herself" - which I thought was horribly snarky. Now I will say that after we paid the $400 she was VERY nice from then on out.
Maison Marie is located right in the heart of Sorrento - there is literally shopping and dining right outside the door. The famous gelato shop Riki is literally right next door - which is dangerous because it's delicious. However, they stay open till 1am and there is always a huge line. It gets fairly noisy at night. The rooms are fairly well insulated but you can still hear the partying.
The hotel was very clean and it was super convenient. When we needed our luggage held the last day, they were very kind to do that for us.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again- but I would make sure you put the right number of people or you will get fleeced for that extra set of towels! :)

We recently rented two rooms for a three-night stay and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. . Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a great stay.
