The location of this hotel was great, and it was easy to rent a car and drive around the island of Corfu. The staff were very helpful. We rented one of the villas, which was very roomy and spacious. However, the villa did not look like the pictures on the website, it appears they photographed their villa with the nicest ground and promoted that as all villas, so this is something to be aware of. Further, to get to the villas there is something like 200 plus stairs so you are required to use an elevator to go up. The elevator had a mechanical pulley system and was quite small and rickity. Twice during our stay the elevator was out of order; luckily once we were going down and the other time they brought a golf cart to pick us up. I am surprised it wasn't mentioned in prior reviews. However, I do believe this is one of the nicer hotels on the island, as we heard from a lot of other travellers and taxi drivers.

A lovely clean and welcoming hotel. The room was bright and spacious with excellent views across the estuary. Sadly there are no bathing facilities nearby and I would recommend a hire car to get around the island, but the area does have some excellent restaurants within walking distance. We only ate once in the hotel other than the daily breakfast which was very good. It the evening we did sample the cocktails on several occasions and the mixologist really knows what he is doing. Thanks to Anna too for looking after us and ensuring that our glasses were always full.
It is worthwhile mentioning that the pool has ample sun beds at all times of the day and the water was perfect for swimming. The most important question is if we would return and the answer is 100% yes.
