Great Place to stay in Corfu!

We had an absolutely great time in Gouvia at Orpheus Hotel! This was our 3rd time in Corfu...The Hotel is a close drive from the airport, which was important for us as our flight was in the late evening. There are plenty of restaurants in the walking distance from Hotel, supermarkets and stores - everything is conveniently close. We have stayed in the top floor apartment which has a huge terrace overlooking the Govia Beach - absolutely stunning!. The place is spotless, with daily cleaning and towels get changed every other day! Christos is a perfect host and he gave us a great info on all the places we needed to see and great restaurants for dining!!! We will return to Hotel Orpheus for sure!!!

Very clean, close to bus station and close to the beach. They clean your room almost everyday and give you everything you need, also they have a fast wifi that helps a lot. The place is right in the middle so you can go north and south. And gouvia is chill a very cool place with bars and restaurants.

We had an excellent stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing. The property is easy to reach and in a great location, ideal for exploring many beautiful beaches in the area. There is a large, convenient parking area close to the sea. The owner was extremely kind and always available, giving us plenty of helpful tips to make the most of our stay. Highly recommended!

We strongly recommend the Loft Apartment of Hotel Orpheus.

As three friends, we booked the Loft Apartment of Hotel Orpheus. The apartment was exactly as shown in the listing. The huge terrace was awesome. The location is good and it is easy to travel to different parts of the island from Gouvia. We spent a really good time. The cleaning and the facilities were excellent. The washing machine was a bonus. Christos, the owner, was a star in our opinion. He helped us with all our questions and provided valuable advice on what to do around the island, and we had a great time chatting with him. Thanks to Christos for being such a good company during our stay. :)

Almost Perfect :)

I had a wonderful vacation in Corfu, thanks in large part to this lovely hotel. It’s perfectly located—just 10 minutes from the city center and surrounded by restaurants, cafés, bars, and convenient little shops with everything you might need. The place is beautiful, the rooms are clean and well-equipped. A special thanks to Christo, an amazing host—kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations. He truly helped make my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this place!

If I had to mention something, maybe a pool would have been a nice extra—but to be honest, that wasn’t the focus of my trip. Perhaps a small touch of originality in the room presentation, like how the towels are arranged, could make it stand out even more. But overall, I truly have very little to complain about. Highly recommended!

The experience was great, good value for money, nice and clean rooms, with balconies for a view. Christos was understanding, especially with our large group of people and keen on helping. Even though the organizing of our large group was a little bit problematic, everything turned out well eventually.

Excellent hotel, the room was very clean and spacious. The location is good, close to restaurants, bars and mini-markets. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The room could have had better noise cancellation or something, because there was a bar nearby with very loud music at night... But that can easily be solved with earplugs.

Great short stay in an ideal location close enough to the marina

Located near the heart of Gouvia with lots of great restaurants, bars and pool nearby. Christos was extremely helpful with looking after our luggage after we checked out and organising taxis for us. Efcharisto poli Christos!

A great hotel and a great owner!! 👍

The host Christos was a very nice bloke. Looked after me and helped me with any questions I had about Corfu. Rooms were very clean, and my room was made everyday. Air Con was good and the fridge was a nice bonus. Enjoyed sitting out on balcony late in the evening, enjoying wine and listening to the music which was nearby. The hotel is centrally located in Gouvia, and is near to supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Very convenient to travel on bus to Corfu Town and other places around the Island. There are some cool posters of Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd at the outside reception which was cool as both Christos & I share the same love of psych-rock music. I would recommend this hotel. Christos works hard to help his guests and this would suit couples or lone travellers like myself who want to be central to everything.

It was ok

The room was big, we had a balcony. It was clean. The location in Gouvia is very convinient, close to the restaurants and supermarket.

It’s hard to find a parking place, as the hotel doesn’t have private parking. The breakfast is ok, but is the same every day, it could be changed a little bit. The host, Christos, could be a nicer person, he should have a warm attitude with the tourists. He is very strict and full of rules and I am not comfortable with that.
