We booked this hotel because it was advertised as adults-only and the rooms looked nice in the photos.
In reality, the hotel is much older than it appears online, and so are the rooms—the impression is more of an old room with some newer furniture placed inside. To make matters worse, the walls and ceilings were dotted with blood stains from squashed mosquitoes.
The mattresses were very uncomfortable, so getting a good night's sleep was nearly impossible.
On the positive side, the self-service breakfast was good, offering a European-style selection.
The staff was generally helpful, although the receptionist's suggestion that we buy our own mosquito repellent plug-in was disappointing.
