Great value for the price, laid-back atmosphere.

Great value. The place was pretty quiet and laid-back, although in a close vicinity of main road as well as walking distance from stores and restaurants. Pool was clean and with plenty of sunbeds and umbrelas and with variety of offered refreshments. Cleaning staff took out garbage on daily basis and changed the towels every other day. The owner was very friendly and they let the guests stay around the facilities even before/after check-out time. The lady taking caring of breakfast bufee was very nice and pro-active and nothing was ever missing.

Plenty of mosquitos, so be sure to something to repel them (in our case there was an electric repelent device, which we only had to buy the filling for). The breakfast did not offer any varieties - just same basic stuff every day, so not ideal for longer stay than a week. I would definitely ban smoking in the dining area, as that was very annoying from some of the other guests. The beds require maintenance (we were 2 persons and luckilly 2 out of 3 beds were ok, but the third one made loud noises with every move).

Spotless apartment with 2 bathrooms and 3 balconys! Very friendly and helpful staff.

The pool was lovely and quiet, but a bit of music, and maybe a snack bar would've been nice.

The shower (you have to hold the tub all time), separated bad that you can't bring them together. It looks like a hostel and very spartanic. It doesn't deserve 9 in booking reviews

The staff is friendly and accommodating. Good location. Rooms that can equip large families, we are six and had plenty of room. Good breakfast, and refreshing pool.

A good place to start your trip in Corfu

The hotel itself is good, with all the basic things you need. Good, clean rooms with aircon and balcony. Breakfast is also reasonable - the same every morning, but there is eggs, bacon, omelette, fresh bread, cheese and meat plate, muesli, nutella, juice and (not so great) coffee. The swimming pool is a nice add on and it is very clean and open from 9am till 8pm. I think it is a good place to start your trip in Corfu. We stayed there for the first 2 nights and were totally satisfied. Not sure if staying for a week would be a good idea - because Gouvia is not that great a place and beach, to spend a week there. But that of course is my subjective opinion after spending 7 nights all over Corfu (east, north, west).

Its more about the town, not the hotel - Gouvia is a place where to spend a day, not more.

Very satisfied

Our stay at Luca Mare was very pleasant, rested in clean apartments and fed with a delicious, filling breakfast, we were able to go to beautiful places on the map of Corfu. The staff was very friendly, the rooms cleaned daily. We are very satisfied with our stay and will spend our next time in Corfu at Luca Mare!

The staff members of Luca Mare were warm, helpful and kind. They gave us many tips and always were open to a little chat. They made our stay here perfect.

The accommodation is perfect, our only minor feedback is that the beds are a bit harder than to our liking. But this is a personal preference.

Good stay

The hotel is located almost close to the city Corfu and the airport. The staff were responsive and friendly, and guided us to visit the best places. The breakfast was OK considering it was included in the price. The facilities were OK and the service was good. There is a nice swimming pool, but we did not have the chance to use it.

My credit card was charged with the full stay costs (it was not even on hold) in advance before we arrive, even though my booking was "Pay later during the stay". I asked the staff about the reason and they said they changed their policy due to some bad experience, which was not acceptable to me when I already had a booking with agreed conditions. The wifi signal was very weak in our rooms and most of the time, I had to use mobile data for the internet connection. There were some stains on the towels, even though they were washed.

Exceeded expectations massively

Room was lovely, and view from our top floor balcony was absolutely beautiful. The pool was a good size and was perfect temperature. Very relaxing hotel. We were a big group of 6 and I will say that we did have some late nights playing cards on the balcony not being super quiet and we had no complaints or anything. Good location, 5 min walk to Gouvia town centre with all the shops and bars. Close to beach. Close to bus stop which takes you to other beaches and old town. Overall amazing hotel which exceeded my expectations massively. Amazing value and we really enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast could have been a little better but honestly it was very decent for the price.

Great stay

Breakfast ok, very helpful staff, best hospitality ever. Clean and nice pool, good spot when you want to visit the island. Frequent buses in many direction, good car rental, close supermarket, many restaurants.

Apartaments with 2 bedroom have very steep stairs. We were constantly scared that one of our children will fall. But to be honest should notice that on pictures before reservation.

Perfect central location for exploring Corfu

Really comfortable, very clean, great shower and great location for exploring the north end of Corfu. Staff very friendly and helpful in advising where we could eat and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would highly recommend.

We picked this hotel due to special offer on Booking. We were charged €80 more than we should be. Due to some bug in the system we lost €80 and neither Booking nor hotel was able to help us. Just unfair practise.

Great location, easy access to buses that take you all over the island, absolutely stellar staff!

The breakfast was delicious and ample, the staff were exceptional in meeting our needs. We were both ill at one point with fevers (not Covid, thankfully) and the owner went to another town on a Sunday evening to get us aspirin. The staff here goes way above and absolutely beyond for their guests.
