This is our second time at cooks club and it won’t be our last. The best adults only hotel. Great food especially how you order on the app and the bar food

Service is supposed to be the heart of a five-star hotel, but this establishment fell short. The staff weren’t rude, far from it, but they just didn’t have anything left to give. You could feel it. They were stretched too thin, and it showed.
It wasn’t about attitude; it was about capacity. There weren’t enough people on shift, and those who were there didn’t seem to have the tools or support to offer the kind of service you’d expect at this level. It felt like the place was run from the top down, with too much focus on management and not enough on the guest experience.
If you’re booking based solely on the star rating, be aware that the service doesn’t quite live up to it.

There’s no indoor pool & an extra charge to use any of the spa. The food wasn’t great, I didn’t like most of it to be honest. There’s not much entertainment on, maybe a band in the evening inside but that’s it. The location is just off a busy road, we had a quad otherwise I don’t know how you’d get round.
