Bathroom basin plug was jammed and would not allow basin to be emptied. Plug had to be prised out.

This was simply horrific. Arriving so late in the evening to shower get in bed and wake up to a bed covered in bugs was the worst experience. Wiping them off my personas then finding more left in the bed well was like being on I’m a celebrity get me out of here!! After speaking to someone who apparently was a manager with no empathy or even an apology just summed up the hotel.

An absolutely fantastic stay at a hotel a short drive from the channel Tunnel terminal. It was everything we needed, quick to check in, friendly staff, a clean spacious room and a fantastic bed for the night. The room was quiet, a fan was provided and we had a much needed night’s sleep in a very comfy bed. We were a little concerned about security and parking a car, but I would not hesitate to return, or recommend this hotel to others needing an overnight stop in Calais.

No one on the desk when we arrived. We had to go out for dinner as we couldn’t dine in due to ‘68 others’ eating in. The room was nearly 30 degrees - no air conditioning or even a fan. Bed had a thick duvet on it!!! We took it out of the cover and even then it was still hot in the room despite sleeping with the window open. On the plus side, the place was clean and ideally situated for ‘Le Shuttle’.

Greeting at reception was lovely. Super helpful and efficient. All staff said hello in passing which made us feel very welcome. A brilliant evening stop over if you arrive in France after 10pm and don’t want to drive any further. Also dog friendly. We have two cocker spaniels. Very quiet although when our dogs saw the rabbits - there are loads- they were very vocal!!

Great location for the Tulip fields. Positive - comfortable rooms, bike rental in site, bowlibg on site, friendly staff, great steam room and sauna. Negative - service slow in the bar, pool wasn't available to guests on Saturday morning because of swim lessons and aqua fit. Woukd stay again.

Drive to any shops or more restaurants. Hotel has a restaurant and small bar. We were given a handicap room so shower had water over half the floor. There was a strange smell in bathroom. Staff very nice. Hotel clean. Easy drive and quick to LeShuttle.

Useful stopover very close to the tunnel. Free parking, clean and rooms at a reasonable rate. Don't expect a character property. There is a restaurant but it looked pretty charmless so we walked for 15 minutes into Cite Europe, where there's a huge choice of food and drink outlets.

The staff are excellent and the food at dinner and breakfast really good. Excellent value for money plus gluten free bread available. It’s really close to Le Shuttle and we always stay there when returning to the UK now.

We have stayed at the hotel before and enjoyed each stay. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable with a good shower. I take my own hairdryer now as the one in the bathroom is fixed and no real power but that is the only criticism. This visit they had run out of gluten free bread but I had some with me and they forgot to switch on the egg boiler so no eggs for breakfast today. The evening meal was delicious as usual and excellent value for money. We will be back!

It's a good hotel to stop off prior to taking the Eurotunnel or after. It's 10 minute drive to the entrance of the Eurotunnel centre. The staff is very nice. Very friendly. The place is child-friendly. It's accessible. It's quiet.

Great staff ... no air condition AND both of us allergic to dogs ... guess what? You could smell dogs in our room from previous users😒
