The room was reasonably clean and in a good location. I have never stayed in a hotel where you have to return your key to reception when you go outside of the hotel, even if it’s just for a short while. I did not feel comfortable with this.

Our room was very clean, the staff were friendly and lovely to speak to, especially Claudia. We had the room on the bottom floor because of my mom’s mobility issues and at first I wasn’t thrilled as it was on street level however it was very quiet at night so it was great and convenient. Breakfast was also great! Also very good location only 20 minute la or so walk to the Eiffel Tower.

We loved the view of Eiffel Tower and the easy access to the Metro. The neighbourhood was okay and we did find some good eateries. We didn’t like that the walls were paper thin and you could hear neighbours. Overall it’s in need of updates. The hotel could start with something more than “dixie” cups and better toilet paper.

We didn’t get the balcony room we initially booked but other than that, the room was good. It was pretty basic but we still had a little view of the Eiffel Tower. We were right above a subway sandwiches so it did get loud and smokers at times. Location was convenient to the train and cafes. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

Both Charles and Claudia were stand-outs. My group chattered consistently about their engagement with us. They both stepped out of the box to assist on every level of need. Nothing was beyond the expanse of their ability. It was so refreshing to be able to come to them on any inquiry and have confidence in the ultimate outcome. These two people are GEMS!!

We had a wonderful stay at Splendid Hotel this spring! The view from our room of the Eiffel Tower was absolutely stunning. The hotel is charming and well located in the 15th arrondissement, close to several metro stations and popular tourist attractions. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which made everything very convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Claudia, who was helpful and kind throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Paris. Highly recommend this lovely hotel..we’d definitely stay again!

This was probably the smallest hotel. We stayed in on our two week journey in Europe. The room was very small for three people, better sized for two people. The balcony and the view of the Eiffel Tower though made it doable. Also the night staff man, I can’t remember his name, was absolutely hilarious and he made our stay even better!

this property is not how described in the pictures we were traveling with three people we were on the top floor. It said we would have a balcony there was no balcony and actually the bathroom was large, but it was so dated. The facility was clean and they had a nice breakfast but we were charged for the breakfast. I wasn’t happy that we didn’t have a balcony as described in the picture and the fact it almost looked like we were in servant quarters. The beds were great and housekeeping did a good job of cleaning up every day.

We booked a room with a view of the Eifel Tower. It was worth it. The view was terrific. The staff are caring and thoughtful. Nicole and the 2 gentleman's that worked at reception were exceptional. They helped us with transportation and my dietary needs for breakfast (gluten and dairy intolerant) The breakfast was delicious, including specialty coffees. I would have given it 5 stars but I found navigating the staircase to the elevator with luggages difficult.

Hotel dated. You have to climb multiple narrow stairs just to get to the elevators . Room way too small. Bathroom shower smaller than our last cruise ship shower. Laundromat across the street was a plus but otherwise the location wasn't that great either. Would never stay here again. Much better options around for the price.

The hotel was very comfortable, in a great location, the staff were wonderful, and it was very clean. However, it is difficult if you have heavy luggage or a lot of luggage. The elevator landing is halfway between the floors so you have to walk either up or down a set of stairs to get to your room. This can be difficult if you have a heavy suitcase. The staff were excellent as there was street constriction outside our window from 10 pm to 3 am. The night clerk offered a room at the back of the hotel away from the street. We moved and were able to get a good night’s sleep. Thank you for doing this.

The hotel staff were very special. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The breakfast selection large, with a good selection. Our room was clean with hardwood flooring. I would recondition this hotel. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower, seine river, sidewalk cafes and many small boutiques.

I would not recommend this hotel. One major concern is their outdated key policy—guests are required to leave their room key at the front desk every time they leave, with no system in place to track who enters or exits the room. While the receptionist was friendly and helpful during check-in, my experience quickly became unsettling. After dropping off my luggage and turning on the AC, I left to purchase Eiffel Tower tickets. When I returned around 10:30–11:00 PM, I found the AC had been turned off, suggesting someone had entered my room while I was out—without any notice or explanation. The next morning, as I was preparing to check out and store my luggage, I discovered that my passport was missing. I’m certain it was with my belongings when I left the room. Unfortunately, despite searching thoroughly later, it was never recovered. This experience raised serious concerns about security and privacy. I urge future travelers to consider these issues before booking.
