The staff truly made the stay – everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating, which made the trip feel relaxed and enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and around five minutes from the metro, making it an excellent base for exploring Paris. Rooms were clean and comfortable, ideal for a good night’s sleep, and very reasonably priced for the area.
The hotel is a little dated, which was expected given the age of the building and the price point. Breakfast was fairly basic, and the rooms are on the smaller side, though this is typical for Paris and perfectly adequate for a short stay.

Everything was good. Was there for one evening , so I had everything I needed.
They also stored my luggage while we waited to check-in and also the next day after check out, seeing I had a flight later that evening.
I would definitely recommend staying here or in this area.

Good location, nice staff
Both the electric and water went off multiple times during our stay and they started carpeting the stairs at 8am which is not ideal when you traveled 16 hours and just need to sleep in a bit. Staff was very kind though.

This was an ok hotel. Location is good. Staff were lovely. Room as described. Clean. Bed was much too hard for us but I guess that's a personal preference. Pillows were nice. Curtains were really good, I think they were black-out curtains so the room stayed nice and dark in the mornings.
Shower was ok, with reliable hot water. Towels were really nice. Refillable soaps rather than single-use miniatures, which we always appreciate. WiFi worked well.
There is a little supermarket around one corner from the hotel and a launderette around the other, both of which were very handy.
There are two main issues with this hotel.
One, the air-conditioning is centrally controlled so you actually have no control over the temperature in your room. So if you're too warm with the aircon on, and outside is even warmer, you have no way to cool down. For me, a hotel saying that the room has aircon and then not giving guests the option to have their room the temperature they want it, is almost as bad as not having any aircon at all.
Two, this hotel must have incredibly thin walls. You can hear phones ringing, conversations, housekeeping, people walking around. I don't think anyone was being overly loud, there is just zero noise protection in the building. I didn't get a single night of solid sleep while staying here.
Extremely poor value for money. Would not stay here again. Would not recommend.

A very friendly hotel in a great location, everything you need is close by, and walk to Eiffel tower in under 30 mins, would definitely stay again
Breakfast wasn't what I like, ended up buying own cereal

The staff at the front desk are very nice and polite
The room and the hotel needs some updates everything looks old , the refrigerator in my room wasn’t working I was expecting they could do something but they did nothing.

There's nothing I like.
We stayed in five rooms. Compared to other Parisian hotels in this price range, it was lacking in many ways.
In particular, avoid entering the bathroom when you're alone.
Sometimes the bathroom door won't open, leaving you unable to exit.
We experienced this several times in several rooms.
The bathrooms were in very poor condition.
Also, don't expect much from the breakfast.
For example, there weren't any plants.

Don’t book hotel with breakfast, It will
Be your worst decision. We paid extra for breakfast and all we get in breakfast was 2 banana / few kiwi and some bread only. We we request in receptionist to add atleast egg for tomorrow, you know what they told me to buy it from grocery.
Nothing look like photos in booking.com. The price it not worth it at all. I had a Very bad experience.
There is one slim guy in reception this is the only good thing of this hotel.
He was polite and the housekeeping lady was too polite too
Thats why I rate good for cleaning but the condition of the hotel is worst l.
Breakfast / room were too narrow how ever its okay but the cleaning of room is not like
Hotel cleaning.

The room was more spacious than in other hotels we’ve stayed at. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. In the morning, they treated us to coffee. Everything was very clean and pleasant. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower at a relaxed pace.

The customer service in the reception of Jaruwat. He always smiled and was willing to help in a very kind manner and patiently. Also Carim was very good.
The location is very good.
You can hear everything from the next rooms. The smell of the room wasn't good and the bath was very old. Paris is too expensive, so I thought that because of the price would be better but in the end you paid for the location.

The location was perfect, only a 20 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. It was close to 2 train stations as well as a supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants.
The reception staff were also very friendly and welcoming, & were able to help us with directions/public transport.
The beds and pillows were also comfy. There was a lift which was convenient for the suitcases. It’s easily identifiable as there is a sign above the property stating “Hotel Alyss.”
The room was small and dirty - for two people, although we did get a twin room, it was still so small and barely any walking room/storage to put our luggage. The bathroom was also very tiny. In terms of cleanliness, the blanket on one of the beds was dirty, the walls had holes and lots of squished bugs on the walls. The room also had lots of mosquitoes, bugs, and even saw a small cockroach in the bathroom.
We really liked the location and other aspects of this property, however it is very run down and old, and needs some better upkeep.

The staff are amazing, i cant ask for better hospitality, the house keeping were also so clean and caring.
They also called a taxi for us during checkout to the airport.
The location is very good with near metro line.
The bathroom is fine well equipped.
Thanks for providing a cot for the baby!
Very tinny elevator. (If you have 3 big luggages, then you need to go up and down 3 times.) but at least there is an elevator.
Very tinny room, similar to most rooms in Europe hotels.

The location was good and the staff were very helpful.
Like most Paris hotels in this price bracket, the room was a bit small and I sometimes had problems with the wifi albeit only briefly.

Hotel was in a great location, easy to get around!! Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming!! Rooms were very small, but expected that.
The shower was horrific! Only half a door, so the water went absolutely everywhere!! They wanted you to reuse the towels but that was impossible to do since you had to mop up all the water with them. Also the nightstands and desk were very sticky, like they have never been wiped off. Had to wipe everything down. Lighting could also be improved

It’s cleanliness is one of the best you can hope for in Paris…
6.0 / 10.0
hotel was 8 minute walk from the metro, the hotel was clean, cleaners were attentive, large window in the room & bathroom.
if we were greeted the same as guest checking in during the day, no info of the hotel or maps were given to us when we checked into the hotel at 11pm, we were told that we will be charged 11.28 euro for tax/vat for staying in a hotel in France as we though we paid everything to booking.com.
the switches on the wall were bad so we couldn't use them properly as phone charges & hair curlers kept coming out the switch so needed to always check if plugged properly. we weren't told when breakfast ends so missed breakfast when we wanted to try it and the next day the breakfast looked dry & boring so glad that we didn't pay for breakfast for 15 a day as we ate outside. most hotels will provide bottled water but this hotel didn't, the sachet of coffee & tea wasn't topped up daily. it was a struggle to get into our room each time as the card never worked properly so we had to go to reception daily despite having 2 cards.

it was a decent hotel with elevator and good WiFi. there were good bakeries and grocery stores around
the room was literally too small and there was no space to open the luggage. the bathroom was good but again too compact. the flush wouldn’t flush the first time fully. the subway stations were about 7-8 minutes of walk away.
8.0 / 10.0
excellent location in walking distance to two metro stations, pharmacy and supermarket just round corner. front of house staff Jerome was excellent. we were able to leave our bags after check out to allow more time to explore paris before flying home
bathroom could have been cleaner, however overall good
