Convenient to Trier. Room hot...no conditioning...not even a fan. Noisy...right above dining terrace...loud talking/children screaming...until about 21:00. Staff OK...but "preoccupied" and not overly courteous or helpful.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this property. We were given the entire top floor of one unit that overlooked the river (I booked a 2 bed, private bathroom room). We let them know the ceiling fan was not working and the next time we returned to our room after going off for the day, we found that they had brought us several oscillating fans and placed them in the room which was very appreciated and made the stay enjoyable. We were able to park right in front of our unit, and they had breakfast ready for us every morning. We ate dinner there once as well and it was very good. They will also pack lunches if you request (and pay extra), but we never needed them. There is an Edeka 10 minutes away by car in Irrel (closed on Sundays). The location is perfect for lots of day trips. We visited Vianden, the Devil's Gorge, drove from Bernkastel to Piesport along the Mosel, Eifelpark, Bitburg, Trier, and the Mullertal. The town on the other side of the river also has a lovely park and playground which our family enjoyed...about a 10 minute walk. Vielen Dank!

Above the TOP! This was one of the BEST places we stayed in our whole trip. We had a whole floor suite to ourselves, and I didn't even ask for it! The owner was so nice, and gave us a TON of information about the town. It was so clean and quiet, and the view from our balcony was spectacular. The food in their restaurant was one of the BEST!! Would highly recommend you stay there, we would go again!

The Ralingen Hof is a very small hotel, only 9 rooms on the property. There is limited parking in front of the hotel but there is more parking behind. The view from the terrace is just gorgeous. There is no elevator which is no surprise for a small hotel and there is no ice for guests. Upon arrival, I discovered that somehow only one room was booked, which with a party of 4 adults was an issue. Nicole handled everything and found a room for us at a nearby bed and breakfast. It was equally clean if much more spacious. I never got the name of the place but the host there was very helpful and explained her accommodations to us. She left us a house rules booklet in multiple languages so we could review on our own. Parking was onsite and free also. I’d like to say an extra Thank You! To Nicole at the Landgasthof Ralinger hof for her help and taking such good care of us. Definitely would go back and stay here again.

Friendly staff, however, most of them don't speak english. They offered a breakfast when checked in, and we asked if it was included, as they said 'yes'. When we checked out, we were charged more than stated in the reservation for for room and also for the breakfast. Enjoy the view, do not expect a good internet conection.

Cant say enough good about the stay. Room was big and brand new. View of the river was great. Owner was great. Very helpful and nice. It was our best stay in europe to date. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the calm river. Owner even brought us some fries with our drinks. Shower was great. Hidden gem. Breakfast was nice and very cheap.

One of the best hotels in our trip. Receptionist was very nice and good from the bar downstairs is excellent! The only issue that we had: spiders and nets in our room, they accepted to changed us immediately to another room.
