Purana Resort Koh Yao Noi

We were in Villa 12 and it was amazing. The pool was cool and so lovely to return to each day. The staff are next level helpful and ready to be there for you. Room service on the terrace was incredible and the sunset were amazing. would so recommend this little resort. You would need to have a scooter though as it is not too close to anything. But the food in the restaurant is well prices and delicious.

Where to start ? Stunning Villas,spacious well equipped, immaculately clean The resort itself,well cared for, swimming pool was clean, enough sunbeds,bar service to pool via telephone. The restaurant , beautiful views over the sea to the Islands.Bi fold windows helped cool air,along with fans when needed.the breakfast,a la carte was beautifully presented and cooked. We ate in the Restaurant most nights due to quality and service. The price was good as well. What topped off the stay was the staff.From Reception to ground staff,cleaners cooks, nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly, gave us good advice, arranged transport etc. A great resort made so much better by staff who cared and who went that extra mile each day

Absolutely beautiful room, pool and view. Great sunset watching from the pool, saw Myna birds, a kingfisher, swallows, sunbirds and at dusk beautiful fruit bats all from our private pool terrace. The room was so peaceful, the plunge pool was a decent size and beautifully clean. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. We hired the hotel's scooter and side car for a couple of days and were able to tour the island and take in the sights as well as travelling at night to go to a nearby restaturant. The whole island is fabulous for scenery, lovely friendly local people. There were other tourists but not at all crowded and all of the beaches were pretty quiet - albeit we were there at peak season. Boat trips and excursions were available to book from the hotel or there were roadside huts that you could book from. We had a private long boat four island tour booked from the hotel which was good value, we had a great day with snorkeling and lunch included. Purana is on the West coast which is a quieter area and you need transport to get around to explore (unless you're happy to walk a way in the heat). They also hire out mountain bikes and normal scooters from the hotel

Okay. We’re sitting at the airport right now, waiting for our flight home, and we’re basically just agreeing on one thing: this place was such a good choice. First of all – we went for the room with the private pool. And yes. That was absolutely the right decision. Being able to just jump in whenever we felt like it, no sharing, no noise, just our own space… it was honestly kind of perfect. And the staff? Seriously sweet. Like, genuinely kind people. There wasn’t a single thing we couldn’t ask about. They were helpful without being over the top, always on it, always smiling. You just feel welcome straight away. The room was really clean. Not just “hotel clean”, but properly clean. Everything felt well taken care of. And the bed – we have to mention the bed – we like a firm mattress, and this one was spot on. We cooled the room down with the AC before going to sleep and then just used the ceiling fan at night. Worked perfectly for us. Also: it was quiet. That matters. Another thing we didn’t even expect: they have bikes, scooters, even a motorbike with a sidecar. We used the bikes for a couple of days, and it just gave us this easy freedom to explore. And the food? Honestly better than we expected. For hotel food, it was really good. In some cases just as good as what we had in town. It’s a bit outside the city, but for us that was actually a plus. More calm, less noise, more relaxed atmosphere. So yeah. Sitting here now, we’d definitely choose it again. Big thanks to
