Superb

we were only here one night and wish it was more - the room was amazing and the beds super comfortable. Very very quiet , with a small beach a stones throw away. The resort arranged our transport back to the ferry for us leaving and all staff were extremely kind and helpful. We spend NYE here and the hotel put on fireworks also. Honesty gutted we didn't have this booked for longer. 10/15 mins in taxi to 'main' area.

It’s a very beautiful place to relax, the staff there are very nice too.

It is in the middle of the jungle, it’s very peaceful and the only thing you can hear is the birds in the morning. A great place to chill and recharge.

It’s 8km far from any shop or ATM, if you can ride a bike is ok but if not you have to pay for taxi to go to the town. The swimming pool is ok but I thought it would be bigger. The gym is an open gym outdoors. Also the beach in front is not the best one to have a dip, i didn’t see anyone in the water.

Take Lots Of Cash!

We loved the activities that were available to book - we enjoyed some massages and painting on site. The wildlife and location was beautiful. The food available was delicious!

There was some miscommunication when booking excursions. I was told when booking that we would be able to pay for everything on card at the end of our stay at reception but when we got back from a day out we were told to pay cash (6000 baht in total). When we said we didnt have the cash the receptionist made us cycle all the way to the nearest cash machine (about 7 miles away) to find that tourists can only take out 2000 baht at a time with an extortionate charge. We offered alternative ways of paying e.g. bank transfer but were refused. Was unfortunately an extremely stressful end to a lovely stay. Also make sure you have plenty of bug spray! There's lots of books on site.

Peaceful stay in Koh Yao Noi

The concept is lovely. The property is surrounded by the jungle and a few steps away from the sea. The room was very big, clean and very nicely decorated. I appreciated the little extra’s such as crayons, a little library and yoga mat. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing stay as the place is very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather we encountered during our stay we couldn’t make use of the pool and outdoor gym.

The hedge in front of our room was rather high and didn’t really allow us a proper view on the sea. The property is in a rather remote area of the island and there isn’t much in the surroundings, so you are forced to rent a scooter if you want to move around. Some members of the staff don’t speak much or any English, which made it quite awkward during some moments as we asked for help or information. Their kitchen offers only vegetarian and vegan dishes and they are rather expensive, therefore during our stay we opted to go to the lovely Thai restaurant next door which offered plenty of local dishes for much cheaper prices.

Unique resort in a stunning and secluded location.

Jaiyen is it in one of the most ideal locations on Koh Yao Noi (which already is an island not short of ideal locations). It is totally secluded with incredible views of Phang Nga Bay. The rooms are huge, clean, and comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly, and the food delicious and well presented. It's a truly unique resort.

I asked for a glass of red wine with dinner and instead got an iced tea, but I might not have explained what I wanted very well.

A Peaceful Paradise with Stunning Views

We absolutely loved our stay! The resort is beautiful, our room was spacious, spotless, and well equipped, with a breathtaking sea view. The pool overlooks the ocean… it’s pure relaxation. The restaurant has an amazing view and the food was delicious. Everything feels so natural and simple, yet still luxurious. The hotel is small and never crowded, which makes the atmosphere even more peaceful. The staff were incredibly kind and always smiling. We totally fell in love with the island and this hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Unforgettable

Everything was so cool, the environment, the workers, the area, the room.

Just to say one thing bad I would say the dogs and cat around were something that could bother to some people. At night when we went to sleep, one of the dogs stayed there and at some point was cute but at midnight he started to bark and we woke up.

The most beautiful, relaxing stay. The perfect mix of nature whilst having privacy too. Delicious fresh food and an extensive drinks menu. Everyone we met had a calming energy so can I can only imagine the energy the co-founders have - which is a touching albeit heartbreaking story in itself.

Everything was so great that we hardly left to explore anything else on the island!

Beautiful place, very quiet and relaxing

The hotel was beautiful and the accommodation was very comfy. Staff were lovely. I liked that you ordered breakfast rather than it being a buffet like everywhere else we had been (and I finally got a decent oat milk latte)

The beach opposite wasn’t great, pretty to look at from the hotel but I wouldn’t lay on the beach or go swimming there, we stayed by the pool which was good. Options for food and drink outside the hotel were very limited unless you hired a bike to get around the island. (Only beer and wine served at the hotel and no alcohol in the cafe next door). I think our only real complaint about the hotel tho, was that when we were checking out, the staff came to get our suitcase and house cleaning came in and started cleaning the room while we were still in it. It would have been nice to have a final check that we had everything and use the bathroom in private etc (we were checking out earlier than needed as it was)

Peaceful and beautiful stay.

This resort was perfect for a peaceful stay on a quiet island. Staff were great and friendly. It’s not located near bars and restaurants but you can rent a scooter and the food at the resort was delicious. The domes were gorgeous with painting supplies provided. The swimming pool was great too.

Could come back here - nice atmosphere

Peaceful small hotel with very friendly staff. In the night time you just hear the nature. I slept very well and deep. Nice sun sets. The swimming pool is fine. Rooms are very clean and maintained well. Very helpful staff. Hotels vegetarian food might get after while little bit "thin" for non-vegetarian, but there is a good restaurant "Coco Bay Cafe" just beside the hotel.

The beaches are not very good for swimming on the whole west side of the island, but hotel is renting scooters, you can drive to east side of the island, where you can find places to swim during the high tide. A small table and sunshade to the "cocoons" terrace would be nice.

I had the most amazing time at Jaiyen! It’s perfect if you are looking for a place to relax and connect with nature, a quiet place on the lovely Koh Ya Noi island to recharge. Absolutely beautiful ocean view and fantastic staff.

Everything was perfect, if I had to name one thing that could be improved are the prices for food and drinks, I totally understand that this is a hotel but compared to regular prices in Thailand for food I find it a bit extreme (double to triple the prices compared to regular Thai restaurants on the island). The food was delicious :).

Magical and cozy resort

Beautifully kept resort. It felt magical. The rooms are large and beautiful. The food was amazing. It was very cozy and relaxing. The resort offers a book fo activities you can choose from. We had an amazing excursion. The reception/dining area has little chill out spots and board games you can borrow. Very cozy.

The fitness center looked a little worse for wear with a lot of equipment rusted and broken. The beach at the front was filled with trash. Although I understand that the beach is public, it would be nice as an eco resort if they cleaned up their front of the beach. It just felt like such a shame to see so much plastic pollution right in front of the resort. Our bathroom also seemed to have a bit of a drain issue with sewage smells sometimes wafting up the drains.

It was the most peaceful trip I’ve ever been to.

It was the most peaceful trip I’ve ever been to. It was a plus that there were so many animals around. The staff and owner of the place were so kind and helpful. The nights are quiet, peaceful and safe. There are loads to see around the island too that are fun to explore and you don’t even have to spend a lot to get the most out of the island. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer than 5 days!

It exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and at home. Our room was incredibly spacious and well-appointed, with a stunning view of the surrounding scenery. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we loved how peaceful and quiet it was. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the exceptional breakfast that was served each morning. It was clear that the resort took great care in sourcing high-quality, local ingredients. Many thanks to the friendly and helpful staff as well. The resort is situated in a beautiful rural island, and the scenery all around us was simply amazing. It was such a treat to be able to escape from the busy tourism of the more populated areas like Phuket. Overall, I would highly recommend this eco resort to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful natural setting. We will definitely return here.

A stay I will remember forever! Most amazing 3 days!

Most insane and beautiful sunsets, the BEST food of my life, lovely animals, a gorgeous pool that faces the ocean — all so beautiful that we didn’t wanna leave and extended our trip. From the moment we arrived until the very last second we felt wholeheartedly welcome. The staff was beyond friendly and there for us whatever and whenever we needed them. The bungalows are so spacious, clean and beautiful & most of them directly face the sea. We actually planned on exploring the island more, but Jaiyen made it impossible to leave 😀 the common area was so relaxing and most of the time we were the only people there. It was also so quiet at all times and the perfect place to unwind for a few days. The B&B is more far away than others resorts, but it is one of the few hotels where you can enjoy a sunset, since all the others hotels are on the other side of the mountain. The food is all self-made and it was honestly the best curry i had in my whole life !!!

The most beautiful spot on Koh Yao Noi ❤️ Thank you so much, Som O, for being the most varm, kind and smiling host ever. We truly loved our 5 days in this paradise. The place, the interior, the cocoon and the infinity pool is all gordious. The staff is all very kind and breakfast tasted so god, and even better was the beautiful way it was served. We also loved the cocoons, the guitar, the yoga madress, the drawing table and we had the most beautiful view from our terasse. The children especially loved all the calm and sweet animals who hang around the resort and we just hope to come back some day. Thank you for an amazing experience 🙏

We love everything about this accommodation and whole customer experience! And you can trust us, we are not so easy to be happy and satisfied. Amazing spacious room, with minimalist decoration, plenty of books and games available. Cute cats around always ready to be cuddled 🐱 Quiet area, great for working or just relaxing your soul. Manager (receptionist) Som O is really great at her job as well the rest of the staff members. Exeptional breakfast!

For further exploring you need definitely scooter or a car, not the best area for walking in the evening (dogs on the street)

Wonderful place to relax.

Such a lovely place! magic beach, silence and harmony. If you want to go on a spiritual ride on a beautiful island, then go to Jaiyen. They were absolute friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and we did not see it anywhere else like this. The bungalows are very comfortable, you have everything you need. It was very tidy and clean. Perfect place to relax! I hope we see us again :) Thanks for that special feeling!
