The hotel is great, however the photos on Expedia are misleading. We paid a premium for the o Ean view suite and you don't get the same view posted on Expedia. Also the picture on the front doesn't show it's on a crowded street. The hotel wouldn't budge on the 11am checkout even though my jet-lagged children were sleeping and there were plenty of rooms to be cleaned ahead of ours.

I spent a splendid week at Les Cabines Houlgate. The hotel is located a few minutes from the beach, right on rue des Bains which is lined with cafés, restaurants and small shops. My room was facing the courtyard, overlooking the many roofs behind rue des Bains‘ storefront buildings. The room is calm, spacious enough for the single traveller and has a quite big bathroom with bathtub. The staff at Les Cabines was friendly and relaxed, making my stay a perfect holiday by the sea.
