The continental breakfast was very good. We arrrived later than expected and Nadine kindly made us a pot of tea which was ver welcome. The hotel is very close to the sea and very quiet.Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and very comfortable and in an excellent location. In our view though it is more a b&b than a hotel.

The building is beautiful and with lots of history. It is very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The room and bed, shower etc all of high quality. The location is perfect by the town and just 2 minutes walk from the wonderful beach. If you want a b&b we highly recommend it.

It is described as a hotel but it is more of a b&b as there are not really any hotel facilities such as communal areas or any where for drinks or other services. Being described as a hotel we had expected it would have more ie. offer drinks or coffee and services for residents. Breakfast is offered at an extra cost. The one public space though then has the breakfast tables set out all day, which is a shame, as it makes it feel like you can't use the room at other times. This is a pity as it's a beautiful room but importantly it's the only communal space.

Great hotel near the beach

We had a wonderful time at La Maison d' Emilie. It was a pity that we had a short stay otherwise we would stay for a month in Houlgate. 😇 The owner Jean Marie was very friendly, and helpfull. The room en bathroom very clean. Great oarking at the hotel and it's near the beach. The location is central in Normandie. Good vibe!

Prijs vs. kwaliteit: - Te kleine kamer (kamer 2) € 130,00 per nacht voor ± 9 vierkante meters incl badkamer. - Waarom zitten de wc borstel bakjes altijd vol met water, is de WC borstel kaal, ligt het bakje eigenlijk op de grond ipv aan de muur? De wasbak zit los. - Afgesleten vloerbedekking. - Gehorig. - Typisch Frans ontbijt, 2 jam, 6 plakjes (stok) brood, sapje, koffie/thee voor € 9 pp.

Es ist wie ein kleines schlösschen! Einfach traumhaft süß und romantisch alt und wertvoll Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, sehr sauber und hübsch, dem Haus entsprechend eingerichtet, sehr geschmackvoll. Ich habe super geschlafen. Der Frühstückspause ist wie ein kleines Gemälde, einfach wundervoll. Gefrühstückt habe ich nicht, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Ein freier Parkplatz ist wenige Schritte entfernt. Alle Menschen im Hotel waren Mega freundlich, ich hab mich sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist klasse, der Ort an sich hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Nicht touristisch, klein, schöne Lokale, man kann lecker essen. Alles prima! Jederzeit wieder!
