Great for a short break we had a couple of days as part of a longer holiday

Next to the beach and very close to the many town centre bars and restaurants. Friendly staff, phoned us shortly after checking out as we had left some of our things which was a nice thing to do and often does not happen.

There is plenty of free street parking and some car parks very close by but being by the beach in the summer season during the day it is hard to get a spot. Early morning and night are OK. There is a 20 minute bay by the hotel door which is usually free and useful for check-in/out with luggage. Plenty of parking further inland maybe 6 minutes walk. I would imaging there is no problem out of season.

Houlgate is a lovely beach town to stay when visiting Normandy and all,its attractions

Great location with convenient close by free parking, biggest plus was lots of good eateries within 10 minutes walk; really excellent seafood too. Houlgate has a massive beach and most interesting architecture from 19th century. Plus a most friendly beach bar. Houlgate really is a gem.

And we we had mediocre weather !!

The hotels palcement is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants , and main turistic points. the staff was lovely and helpful in guiding our weekend activities as well as providing discounts for the local spa

this might seem frivolouse, at the breakfast there weren't any plates, just the saucers for the coffee mug az well as large napins, which makes eating a bit unconfortable. the breakfast selection is good though.

The location and very clean. Renovated rooms. One of the few hotels offering 3 person bedrooms with on top a partial view of the beach. Great value for money.

Apperently due to Covid19 there are limited reception hours. Was announced well in time do not really an issue.

The calm of the hotel nevertheless, the owner prone to help and listen. The situation closed to parking, beach, in center city.

As discussed with the owner, the donwstair room (n°10) is closed to the reception which was not described in Booking.com. She mentions immediately she has already removed the offer.

Alles... niet schoon, alles zwaar verouderd, erg kleine kamer, matig ontbijt. Maar t ergste was de douche die niet doorliep. Super goor. En ondanks melding is het niet opgelost. Douchen in 3 cm water en steeds bang voor overstroming.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. In unserem Zimmer haben wir nichts gehört, auch wenn das Hotel direkt an der Strasse liegt. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, super freundlich. Unkomplizierter Check-in und flexibler Check-out, tolle Kommunikation! Gerne wieder. 🙂

Een beetje teleurstellend.

We kregen een kamer op het gelijkvloers wat ideaal was voor ons . ( geen trappen ! )

De ligging van het hotel. We waren van mening dat het hotel gelegen was aan het strand zoals de naam doet vermoeden. Dit was evenwel niet het geval. Ook van Houlgate waren we teleurgesteld. Wel een "promenade " langs het strand maar alles afgeschermd door strandcabines. Geen enkel cafe of restaurant langsheen het strand tenzij één ver gelegen, wat dan nog gesloten was .

Super Aufenthalt in einem schönen Ort und schönem Hotel

Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Meerblick Super freundliches und hundeliebes Personal Super Lage zum Strand(sowohl ohne als auch mit Hund) Kleines aber feines Frühstück zu einem Top Preis Viele gute Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe Parkplatz ggü oder in einer Seitenstraße gar kein Problem gehabt
