If you need English, this is probably not your hotel. But in every other way, it is an excellent day.

Good central position for restaurants and bars - less than 10 minute walk to and from the train station that linked to Paris Saint Lazare or Rouen and only a 10 min cab ride to Monets garden in Giverny - staff helpful ,room comfortable, breakfast good selection maybe a bit overpriced but a Boulanger for half the price down the road

Very lovely hotel with friendly staff. Located close to everything there's plenty of dining options. Clean, large rooms, modern bathroom with comfortable beds. Definitely recommend.

First the room they assigned this to did not have the electricity on and smelled like a a rotten chemical factory. I demanded a different room and it smelled almost as bad. I move the bed together from two twins so I could be next to my wife the carpet was so dirty underneath the beds that I was disgusted. I couldn’t sleep at all. I was allergic to whatever chemicals they used. I don’t recommend this is a good place to go

This is an amazing property with the charm and lots of history. Loved our stay. Will return.

The rooms need updating, they are decorated like a cheap motel! Poor customer service - the man at the reception looked bored and like he couldn't care less. Breakfast was good, though, as well as the location of the hotel, right in the center of the town. But other than that, not much to write home about.

Unfortunately Hotel Normandy fails to deliver. The staff are lovely, (though one woman was quite rude to me everyone else was AMAZING and more than made up for her). They are so kind and happy to chat with you, explain everything you need to know, etc. Sadly, this hotel almost feels like it was opened up years ago and the owner was unable to maintain it. Upon entrance a couple and I waited about 15 minutes for the elevator which was not working, my first sign. We finally got it to work and I headed up to my room which was very outdated, and a little bit creepy honestly. There was no air conditioning, which is not unreasonable given that it's Europe, but instead just a small fan, and a bug on my pillow. The hotel restaurant which they advertise as open and serving dinner - I even looked at the menu online, I was told only serves breakfast to the public and I couldn't eat there. This was disappointing as it's a small town so there are not a ton of food options. I ended up checking out a day early because I was unbearably uncomfortable and couldn't sleep in there. When I asked about a refund for the second night they said "no because it doesn't fall in the 48 hour cancellation window" which I didn't love, but again understood. Sadly on Expedia it's been telling me this was non-refundable since December. I know because I tried to cancel. They should organize and streamline their policies. I wish the hotel luck but they need a renovation, improved cleanliness, and services.

There was a very strong smell of cleaning fluid or air “freshener” and it took quite a while with the window open and the fan on to disperse it. Also, I think it would get rather hot in summer-luckily I was there on a cool day.

The team is amazing — always attentive and caring.

Beautiful town of Vernon, with easy tourist trolley from train station to Giverny, incredibly beautiful full of flowers and Monet’s home and water lilly bridge! It was an amazing trip! The hotel was beautiful, walkable medieval town, charming and great location! The room’s floor was dusty, perhaps that room had been cleaned few days prior, otherwise room was ok. Vernon was an incredible town and the hotel was very pretty too. I totally recommend it.

It was set in a nice location, with options to eat and drink. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

This hotel was spacious, comfortable, quiet. We were in a separate building, across a small courtyard, and it was very private.

The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time.

It was a decent place to stay for one night. We rented bicycle from the hotel and they were in good shape, although one of them only had a working front break.

The breakfast was disappointing and overpriced. But else it was alright. Not much time spent in the hotel due to work. Though the dinner experience was pretty bad. Don't eat dinner here...

Lovely hotel in the center of Vernon

This was an overnight stay for our journey from CDG to Bayeux after a long flight. It served its purpose as it provided a good night's rest before we head on to Bayeux. The room was extremely small and had very little counter space for our things, and the bathroom had a sheer curtain over the window (which faces another room) which was an issue for us. But for an overnight stay, it served the purpose. Do not recommend for longer stay.
