The breakfasts were terrific with a special each morning or a very good buffet selection. The rooms are pleasantly furnished, each unique in a way that feels both elegant and comfortable. The parking turned out to be an excellent boon in a city not designed for cars. The hosts helped us figure out what to see and where to go. Altogether, a very good stay, so good that we extended for a day

Friendly hosts, comfortable room, generous and delicious breakfasts and easy walking distance to city and pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent choice! Really enjoyed the breakfast cooked by Paul and Fiona’s service was discreet and timely. Lovely family run city centre location. Paul and Fiona were very friendly and knowledgeable about local places to visit and eat and drink venues. Highly recommended. The Jordans

Location was perfect. After a short walk we were in the centre of York. The staff were very friendly and informative. Room was spotless and comfy. Parking around the back if you book. Breakfast was lovely and will definitely be back.
