I can’t praise this place enough! What a fantastic find, unbeatable value for money. The guest house is located just outside the old city walls and has lots of character. I stayed in the single room, which was tucked at the back, quiet, cosy, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were lovely to chat to, and the breakfast delicious and cooked to order. A perfect stay, I couldn’t have made a better choice for my trip to the beautiful city of York!

What a great place. The York City Guest house was central for the city centre, especially for the Minster. The couple who run it were amazing 😍 So friendly, it made you feel as though you'd stayed with friends. The rooms were all clean and spacious for our 3 night stay. The breakfast was really good with quite a selection. We definitely recommend the Guesthouse and will hopefully be back to stay in the near future.
