The bedroom had a dirty cup of coffee (there was dried coffee inside and it was upside down to be used). No wardrobe or shoes available to walk to the sauna. Food service ok but very little choice for meal

It was a nice and pleasant stay. The abundance of food choices for breakfast didn't let me go without trying everything. Location is in the middle of all means of transport and activities offices

The staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. There were plenty of lifts going up and down so never had to wait for one. The sauna was nice and heated up fast. We didn't stay for breakfast but the dinner menu had good options. The sky bar has amazing views and the downstairs bar had good service.

Friendly receptionist, very accommodating! The room is fresh and clean, bed’s are comfortable as well. Wide food varieties in breakfast buffet. The hotel is nicely decorated with a modern japandi feeling.

It is a short taxi ride from the Kiruna airport to the Scandia Kiruna Hotel. Once there, I was delighted to find that it was a pleasant walk to a number of shops...groceries, clothing, personal care, etc. The facility, itself, is very clean. The staff is welcoming. Very nice stay!

Wonderful stay. Clean, comfortable room. Restaurant was great. We particularly loved the sauna overlooking the city. Parking was a little hard to figure out - it's across the street, but takes a little to figure out. Also seems like too much light pollution in the immediate area to see the northern lights. Front desk employees were simply outstanding. We have a large family and visited at a busy time and they alerted us to arranging for taxis several days in advance and then calling to make the reservations for us. Brand new hotel. Skybar has great views. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

The best thing about the hotel was the room that was nice and clean. The rest of the hotel was a bit disappointing. From looking at the pictures, I was looking forward to chilling in front of the fireplace with a hot chocolate in the afternoon or starting the day in the sauna. The reality is that the lobby is quite busy with people checking in all the time. Moreover, there is no fire in the fireplace, and the bar was out of cream and hot chocolate. The sauna was beautiful, but doesn’t open until 15.00 and is gender separated. Nice view from the skybar, but the vibe is quite tacky from drinks to selection of pop remixes.

The free municipal bus service from the train station was a real bonus. The only thing we were disappointed but was the very limited choice off food served at the hotel.

It was a beautiful stay with wonderful breakfast and dinner. The receptionists were super nice and friendly which also made it a pleasant stay. They interact with their customers and help them when they need it. As someone who is afraid of elevators I mostly took the stairs but there was one receptionist who was thoughtful and considerate and was very encouraging. One receptionist in particular who we saw the most was friendly and we really enjoyed our stay at Scandic Kiruna and her company. She was called Tilda and was funny, kind, respectful, encouraging, thoughtful and beautifully kind. She was the nicest receptionist we’ve ever met and this was definitely our favourite trip due to the hotel. So thank you Tilda and the rest of the receptionists at Scandic Kiruna

We spent 3 nights in the hotel. The room and toilets were not cleaned even once deapite informing on the reception desk multiple times. The toiletries, tea bags, cream and sugar were not topped up at all. Complete lack of service. Will not recommend to anybody.

I had booked and paid for a superior room but was given a standard. When asking about it they claimed I had booked a standard. I showed them my booking confirmation which showed it was a superior, but that didn't help as they said they had none left. This left us with a bad taste although they offered to compensate the price difference.
