Great short stay location

Room in hostel was basic but had adequate amenities. Good luggage storage room in main building and the food at lunchtime was first rate! Also the variety changed each day and it was well worth the money. Short bus ride to the Ice Hotel which was superb(!!) and only about £24 for me (over 60). Kiruna is very interesting and unusually important for a town of that size. The hotel is in a great location with only a short bus ride to the centre or a nice 2km walk.

Was in a hostel room (which I wasn't expecting, but think that might booking.com fault, not sure). It said economy room but didn't state that was in the hostel and not the hotel. (as I say this could be booking.com error not hotel fault). but we were only there two nights and it was a two bed private room so not a problem.

Hot water was not working with -20 degrees outside

Good breakfast and good location to go outside the city and look for the aurora

Hot water didn’t work for 5 hours with -20 degrees outside and they did not communicate it, we found out by ourselves showering :’)

Clean and affordable accommodation close to the old city centre.

Clean and well-equipped kitchen, good breakfast included. The single rooms are small but have private toilets. Calm and peaceful surroundings.

Not good just convenient

Location by the skiing station

Old building, room and bathroom, not in good shape. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Shower head hose was broken and water was therefore leaking. Hot water for tea at breakfast was cold. Nothing charming nor comfortable. It's just okay for 1 night.

Clean and well-equipped, yet not close to town centre(s) or train station.

Good hostel-type accommodation (i.e. don't expect too much) Breakfast was basic, yet decent. Communal kitchen was very functional, useful and clean (incl. pots, pans and cutlery). Staff was helpful (readily changed room, when initial room smelled of cigarette smoke). Rooms were basic, yet functional and clean (beds could be pushed together to create impromptu double bed). Heating was good, incl. hot water.

Located on the outskirts of Kiruna Located fairly far from the train station (~35min on foot in wintery conditions). Located far from new city centre of Kiruna (bus ride necessary). No shops or eateries located in immediate vicinity.

The room was spatious, we had a common kitchen well-equipped. The breakfast included was very nice with a loz of thing to choose from.
