Dirty room (had to ask a cleaner separately to come and clean previous customers mess), old vibe, floor made sounds with every step. Towels didn’t get changed even though we placed them on the floor as adviced. No amenities in the room. No apologies or vouchers for the troubles. Definitely not worth the price.

Room cleaning service is very detailed. Breakfast is super healthy. Receiption desk so helpful specially- Imran who helped to check me in when I arrive with a last minute request. Looking forward to come again next week.

Room was clean but very boring.Also I would have hoped to be able to chill the room more (was 22C even full aircon) especially when it was like +4deg over the night outside - bring in the cool air! I did not like the color pallette and minimalism on the room walls. Parking is 500m away in ”Rokkiparkk”i so it’s some walk if by car. Be sure to dropp off your luggage in case. Top floor Sauna, deck and pool are great! Breakfast is very good👍 Basically is was good value for the money, depending on what you value. I’d still like to see an upgrade of the textiles in the room.

Comfortable, stylish hotel with very good facilities. Room was spacious and provided superb views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, breakfast choices were extensive and plentiful. Skyroom bar provides great views across Helsinki and serves a wide range of drinks. The city centre was only a short tram ride away. The only negative during our stay was the supposed allocation of time slots for breakfast, which was not implemented and resulted in chaos on the Saturday morning.

Nice rooms, however one of the two rooms we stayed in was distinctly smaller than the other. The blackout blinds were suboptimal with openings on the sides that were hard to fix/plug. The relax area and swimming pool was top notch. We could hear the trams even though we were on floor 7, albeit not a major issue. Whilst hotel a bit out of city centre, several tram lines outside the hotel which take you to most places in Helsinki. Nice breakfast.

Ok hotel but terrible business ethics and poor service. The receptionist used almost half an hour checking us in even if we had prepaid reservations, during the process he offered a "very good deal" on a upgrade to superior room for 20EUR/night. When checking the website afterwards I found that the normal price difference between standard and superior rooms those days was only 18 EUR. 3 days after checking out my credit card was suddenly charged 40 EUR for minibar items. I had not taken anything from the minibar, and the invoice stated date of consumption as 2 days after we left. After e-mailing with the hotel I have still not received a refund, or any other explanation than repeated copies of the invoice.

We had a pleasant stay during our Helsinki trip. The room was neat and beds comfortable. The hotel sauna and pool were a big hit - especially for the kids. The breakfast was decent, and the hotel offers a sky bar with a view over the city (prices slightly high but the view is undeniable). The location is good, however since we mainly wanted to explore the city it would have been nicer to be a bit more central. Having said that, the hotel is easily accessible via short tram ride.

I enjoyed my 3 night weekend stay very much and am happy I took a friend’s recommendation to stay at Clarion during my time in Helsinki. I appreciated the later breakfast times finishing at 11:00AM and the facilities (scenic rooftop sauna and pool) on offer. However, during my last morning before checking out I went up to the spa area at 11:00AM to use the facilities but was told after only just entering the pool by staff that the area was closing for maintenance until 15:00. I appreciate this is a necessary requirement, but I would suggest changing the maintenance times a bit later to allow guests to have the full morning to use the facilities.

Excellent hotel in a convenient location. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and several tram stops. Walkable to the the Eckerö Line ferry terminal and the city centre (with a coffee stop). Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower excellent. The room could probably do with something on the wall as it was a bit stark, but that is a non issue and had no impact on our stay. Considering the size of the hotel (you can see it from miles around) it was really quiet throughout our stay. The AC/climate control system in the room is a bit fiddly but it works and was very much appreciated (it was surprisingly hot in Helsinki when we visited). The internet speed was decent and the wifi easy to connect to. As is typical in Clarion hotels, the breakfast spread was exceptional. There was a lot of great food to choose from. Would definitely stay again.

Limited menu in restaurant. Nice food though and at breakfast, but breakfast experience terrible. So overcrowded on Saturday and Sunday that there were no tables free at all. Very greedy clientele eating vast amounts of food for the whole day. Clean room but sugar coffee etc not topped up. Rooftop bar very good with good cocktails. Location good right by a tram stop with 3 lines.

Skybar is worth a visit, however, staying at hotel, not so much. Disappointed with cleaning of the bathrooms, indoor climate is not good. Bedding is damp. Hotel and especially bathrooms are in need of renovation. Staff is friendly, though. Ended up staying one night and booking another hotel instead for the rest of the trip, which did not have these issues. I do not recommend this hotel or the chain. This is the second Strawberry hotel in a row I have stayed at with these kinds of problems.

Friendly staff, accommodated the extra bed at small fee (the one that hotels.com never manages to purvey to the hotel). Good value for money, easy transport to ferry as well as airport. Very nice hotel with luxurious lighting from Flos. Room was quiet despite being next to the elevator. It was also bright, just as I like it, and spacious. We love the perlescence tiles in the bathroom. 😀 My daughter and I call it the Unicorn sanctuary. Friendly personnel especially at the Social Bar and Rsti. Huge buffet catering to all tastes - vegan, lactose free, gluten free.

Usually I don’t write many reviews but this I have to do it. This hotel is 10 out of 10. The staff is super friendly and smiling and make small jokes 😊 The breakfast is on top. Everything you need. The pool, sauna and gym were really well maintained, very clean and a nice place to spent some free time. There was drinking water everywhere. The sky bar is also a beautiful fancy place to see the sunset and have a nice cocktail. The rooms are very spacious, beds very comfortable and very clean. The view of the hotel is breathtaking - very panoramic. It is also located literally next to the public transport. If I visit Helsinki again, I will definitely stay here 😊
