Very clean rooms, great staff and amazing breakfast:)

I recently stayed at Merodi La Porta in Istanbul’s Galata neighborhood with my cousin, and we had such a wonderful experience. The location was one of the best parts of our stay — the hotel is very close to the Galata Tower and within walking distance to so many of the places we wanted to visit, explore, and eat around Istanbul. It made getting around the city really easy and enjoyable. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, which was important to us as travelers. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we needed anything. Another highlight was the breakfast that was included with our stay. It was absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh options every morning — honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Merodi La Porta to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in the Galata area.

Diabetes, the staff was very friendly and professional, and very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean. The restaurant was a great. And it was walkable distance to a lot of restaurants stuck a lot of tower even going across the phosphorus to the bazaars and mosques. It was such a great time and their communication was amazing.

Staying at Meroddi La Porta Hotel was an absolute highlight of our trip to Istanbul! Tucked into the vibrant, historic streets of Galata, the location couldn't be more ideal. Being literally a two-minute walk from the iconic Galata Tower meant we were right in the heart of one of the city’s most captivating neighborhoods, surrounded by charming cafes, boutique shops, and lively art venues. ​The hotel itself perfectly blends boutique charm with modern comfort. Our room was wonderfully stylish, spotlessly clean, and featured extremely comfortable bedding that provided a peaceful haven after long days of exploring the city. Small details, like the thoughtful decor and excellent climate control, made our stay feel effortlessly luxurious. ​The crown jewel of the property is definitely the LaPorta Roof restaurant. Enjoying breakfast up on the terrace while taking in sweeping views of the city skyline and the sparkling Bosphorus was an unforgettable experience every single morning. The food throughout our stay was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. ​What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exception service. The staff at Meroddi La Porta went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were always friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful with local travel tips and navigation guidance around Istanbul. The proximity to the Şişhane metro made getting to other historic sights completely seamless. We couldn't have asked for a better
