This is the first time experience staying in below standard hotel The hotel that I paid £77+ doesn’t have a tea or coffee in his room The toilet doesn’t have full toilet tissue I left the hotel this morning before 9 o’clock to look for another hotel It was painful

This was the most expensive and least desirable hotel we stayed in on our 2 weeks trek around France. The best part about this hotel was a chinese food restaurant a short 3 minute walk from the hotel. We went because there was no place else to go and to our surprise it is a hidden beauty. I would not define this as a Chinese food restaurant but an eating experience. So if you choose to stay at this hotel, leave yourself enough time and room in your stomach for this all you can eat treat. Though I don't know the name, the hotel recommended it so I'm certain they will guide you there as well. If you like

A lovely little 'Boutique'Hotel next to the River Seine. In easy walking distance to the centre of the town. Friendly staff. Did not have evening meal service but could recommend local restaurants. A good location for those visiting Giverney
