    Very good hotel beside the Chao Phraya river. Great views from the riverside rooms, Rama VIII bridge is beautifully lit in the evening. Very good poolside breakfast buffet.

    It is worth paying the little bit extra to have a river view. You also have easy access to a pier and you can roam up and down the river to visit places. The staff were excellent. I do have a few gripes about the facilities. There did not seem to be any way to control the aircon other than turning it off. I struggled to sleep some nights because still too warm but at least the area was quiet. Others have pointed out that the rooms need some renovation. I had a towel rack that was just hanging off the wall. Also do bring your own basin plug. There aint any available. I would score this hotel about a 7.8 out of 10. Room for improvement.

    The accommodation was old and tired and is due for a renovation, it has a shower curtain which was frustrating as the water would quite often leave the shower and wet the floor, most of the hot buffet breakfast that was provided in the morning was cold, which was a bit disappointing. The view of the river was beautiful, that was definitely the highlight of this accommodation.

    The front desk was courteous however the older gentleman incharge of the travel desk was rude and almost condescending. I enquired about the river cruise and wanted a good price and almost got shooed off. There is a reason why customers of a hotel are called guests. The bare minimum courtesy is expected specially for foreigners. The facilities and amenities of the hotel are pretty average. They charge higher because of the location. There are however more luxurious options nearby.
