    Wonderul location along the Majestic Chao Praya River. Great Breakfast, Great Staff, Great Facilties, Great Prices. All good, but either the internet connection or guest's ability to understand how to connect can be quirky. Problems solved. And Great place to stay.

    I booked last minute because I couldn’t get into the hotel next door where my friends were. So moving from here wasn’t going to be ideal despite all the things that were less than adequate. The room I booked had a picture of a window with a river view, but I was allocated a room with a wall directly outside. . I explained this to reception but their attitude was unbelievably rude. Put her hand up and said nothing to with us, speak to Agoda. I said well I’m here now talking with you, what’s the cost to upgrade so I can just get to my room & relax. The price to upgrade was more than the cost of the entire room on Agoda. She just did not want to help at all. So I had to go through Agoda which took over an hour. They were acknowledging an error had been made but said it was the hotel. The hotel wee now saying there’s no river view rooms available to give me. But at reception they said there is if I pay…it wouid have been cheaper to just book online rather than upgrade. It was Saturday night during the flooding and there was no one coming in by now but they had no flexibility. Even offering a genuine upgrade price. The room wasn’t bad but the bed was so uncomfortable. I woke the first morning with bites but didn’t even think of bed bugs till my friend suggested this on day 3 when we left. I did sleep on top of the bed the rest of the stay with my sarong, because I was needing the quilt for extra comfort. Breakfast was interesting. There’s a sign up order eggs at the buffet either choices of ham, onion & tomato. I asked for ham & onion, but got only tomato. Again asked for ham & onion, but this time was given onion only. They told me they couldn’t cook pork in that frying pan because of halal people not being able to eat pork. I kept pointing to the sign that says ham, but they just walked away. I live in Asia, and I get to speak slowly & gently & respectfully, but the staff here were just something else. I don’t know if they were mentally affected by the flooding? But they made me feel so uncomfortable!
