no really nice welcome area. room was way too hot (setting 5) and smelled intensly of chloride - was it the towels or the cleaning? had to sleep with open windue due to the smell. awfull

I booked 3 nights the morn of my arrival (last minute booking). When I got to the hotel I was less than impressed by what lay in front of me. However, I still checked in. I made my way to a small, dated, musky room with black mould, water damage and a smell which would test the resolve of a seasoned silage farmer. There were hairs & stains on the bed. Similarly on the curtains. The noise from the railway lines out front was grating on my ears. It was the sort of room that I was half expecting Spiderman to come through the window and a landlord to bang loudly on the door demanding my overdue rent. I was less than impressed by the situation I found myself in. I quickly went online to see what other accom was available. I knew I couldn't stay here and returned to reception. I explained my situation, especially considering the black mould. I was offered another room - but there was no way I could stay in this hotel. I asked for a refund and was refused. I even offered to accept a refund for only 2 out of the 3 nights. I was told to take it up with @hotels.com. They have also refused to provide a refund as this decision lies with the hotel manager. This hotel wasn't cheap, as they were clearly capitalising on a large conference in town - so it was almost 4 times the normal rate - which they are entitled to do. However, it is of such a poor standard. Awaiting response from Hotel. My advice AVOID AVOID AVOID. hotels.com should remove from site

Well , i know that its just cheap compared to other hotel but 1 thing you need to consider is to clean the room properly.we complain about it that it 's dirtt underneath the bed , bottle of water is under the bed.the smell is so crazy ..smeels of cigarrettes

Smallest room I've ever stayed in. "Desk" is 1ft by 2ft in size only and tight up against the bed, so not very usable. Only 1 coat hanger. 15min walk from Messe halls however and room was quiet. No food. Area seems safe. Clean and tidy though somewhat outdated decor. Bedding changed daily. Front door key lets you come and go as you please. Photo is taken from the door.

I chose this hotel because this hotel is very close to Messe (walking distance abouit 10min). Stayed in a 3 bed room, was small but very clean. After 2nd day of our stay, heater got broken, we got transferred to other location which took us more than 30min by public transportation to Messe. We had to take taxi.They refused to refund taxi fee(total 6 trips). I think it is reasonable to ask for refund because we paid 3 or 4 times than normal rate(we paid around 300Euro per night during Ambiente Fair) becasue the hotel we originally stayed is really close to Messe. We got transferred to other hotel because of their fault, so we had to pay more for our trip to Messe. I have stayed really cheap hotel before, never had heater problem before. Heater problem was a non-funny painful joke HA.HA

When you pay a cheap price for a 3 star hotel you wonder if you have done the right thing - My self and my colleagues can not recommend this hotel enough for the price you pay. If is walking distance from the station, the double glazing means you can not hear the trains, it was really clean and the staff were very accommodating. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The shower was hot and was fairly powerful. Breakfast was a buffet of hot and cold which all tasted good. We would definitely be staying hear again

No free parking as advertised, no air conditioning, no restaurant to eat the tiniest room ever no counter space no chair or table with work/write on privacy none people could look right in our window making impossible to open windows or curtain directly across from train & computer trains it was the WORST!!!!!!

There was no one in the hotel but us, so we couldn't get breakfast or help with anything!!! The keys were left in an outside mailbox that we had to call a number to get into the box, but our phones wouldn't work in there Country. We stood outside for over an hour asking people on the street if they would call for us. Not many Spose English so it was a very long and hot wait!! No air conditioning very hot!! Never seen anyone that worked there until the day we checked out!!
