The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so it was only one night for us on our trip to another destination. Luckily the hotel has a good restaurant, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and updated. The room didn't have any view, and therefore the rate received seemed to be too high.

Great guest house, with an amazing restaurant and chef/owner. Included breakfast was fantastic, and everyone was very friendly. Very close to a ski lift and to some of the larger ski areas in Feldberg. Well worth the quite reasonable price.

Very clean and newly renovated bathrooms. Very compact rooms. Our room was above the main entrance. Area where guest of the hotel and restaurant can smoke. Hotel is just below a busy road. Combination didn't give us a relaxing 'forest' experience.

Our experience started very badly because the address given by Expedia gave us a street and an area Feldberg. There are at least three hotels Waldeck in a the large area covered by the description Feldberg. The booking should have specified the village in which the hotel is situated, namely Altaglashutten. It took us two hours to find the hotel.

Location was great, staff was really fantastic. I really liked the quality of service at the hotel, by the second breakfast I didnt even have to order coffee! On the second day they even helped me get my car out in the snow. The only thing that was less then stellar was the bed, not sure if this is just German style I'm unaccustomed to but it was very soft and had no support. Otherwise great hotel, good food, location, service, atmosphere will definately visit again.

Room was very clean and bright. Bathroom was small; wished there were hooks to hang clothes on during showers. It was very quiet during the night. Restaurant was good, lots of breakfast choices. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was no elevator. Parking was on the street in front of the hotel and you had to go down a flight of stairs to get into the hotel.
