We were not pleased with our stay at this hotel. After we complained about some things to the staff, they said this property was purchased by Holiday Inn in November from another hotel chain; they were working on bringing it up to Holiday Inn standards. I can appreciate that, but charging full price for substandard rooms, etc. was unacceptable. The staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be, but they seemed like they were new on the job. The exterior, lobby, and dining area were updated and in good condition. The elevator and 2nd floor hall carpet had uncleaned spills. Room 205 was ok, but other rooms that our traveling party experienced were not. Room 203 smelled moldy; we smelled a strong mold smell without walking into it. Room 214's sink trap leaked all over the bathroom floor. The pool wasn't operational yet Holiday Inn's own website did not contain that information (it does now). They were asking people to drive to the other Holiday Inn nearby to swim then drive back. I reached out to Holiday Inn to allow them to fix the bad stay and redeem their reputation before writing this review. They gave me IHG reward points to use when booking through IHG (which I don't use anymore because I use Hotels.com). It was a kind but useless gesture but not useful. I would not stay at this hotel again.

While the staff was friendly and respectful, the hospital room left a lot to be desired. The room was clean but in disrepair. The ceramic tiles in the bathroom were loose due to the grout being broken and missing in places. The breakfast that you expect from a hie was not even close. The regular breakfast items were not available and had not been there for some time and they were unable to get any. I could go on and on. The people there were bright enough we were not unpleasef.

My flight was cancelled and I needed to cancel the room, however the hotel would not refund my money because of their policy. It was beyond my control that my flight was cancelled and I had to completely change my trip. I even purchased the insurance and that was useless

The door to our room wouldn't fully close. Even with all the locks latched, there was still a big gap. The carpets were disgusting with stains everywhere, and an ice machine had flooded our hallway. Worst of all was the pool area! There was literal VOMIT in the pool, old pizza on the ground, beer cans overflowing the trash can, and even an adult toy beside the pool! So gross!!

When i arrived there was a party going on under the awning in front of the entrance to the hotel. Loud music, people posted in lawn chairs,walking around with beers in their hands, motorcycles parked under the awning. People being very loud. The hotel staff did nothing just allowed it. More people spilling out of the breakfast area in the lobby to join the party outside. Very loud. Get to my room the carpets are dirty room smells very wet and mildewy, tub had hair in it, dirty. The pool was green not clean at all.

Two Holiday Inns located across from each other; a Convention Center and an Express. I went to the wrong one first as that one stood out more and found there were another 2 or 3 persons that were in line with me at the first one that showed up at the 2nd location (Express).

The staff was amazing. Everything was clean and well kept. The TVs in the suite was out of date. The breakfast bar was sub standard. When you have a permanent sign dor your out of order pancake machine, that says something. I was there 5 days total. Only one breakfast was good.
