Wonderful hotel tucked into a quiet corner adjacent to the Shingyokoku shopping street. You would think being next to the busiest shopping streets would make it noisy here, but the room is super quiet and cozy. We had a twin bedroom which was decent sized, with a great view of the city looking North. The highlight of the room is the in-room washer and dryer, which is so convenient. The staff are excellent. All spoke speak very good English and provided stellar service. The lobby offers a small drink area with coffees and teas. The balcony of the reception floor offers a nice view at the shopping streets. If you wanna be more in center Kyoto close to trains and shopping areas. This is a great place to stay!
