    I booked this hotel some months ago on the basis we could cancel a few days before travelling.No payment was taken.Once we knew Aston Villa were in the Final of the Europa Cup everything was confirmed. I had booked 2 economy rooms and this meant sharing a double bed in a small room.Despite its size it did a job- a lovely walk in shower and sufficient cupboard space for a short stay.The breakfasts were very continental with plenty of choice but there were also hot items- don't expect an English breakfast ! Great drinks machine. All the staff were lovely and friendly and we made use of the bar quite a lot together with a very nice restaurant menu mainly because the weather was pretty bad. Very close to Taksim Square which suited us. If you are a light traveller the economy rooms are good for a single traveller and fine for a couple. Would recommend

    Almost anyone in Istanbul seems to want to take advantage of tourists, and unfortunately this hotel was no exception. Instead of the more spacious Deluxe room I paid for, I was given a small economy room for my 4-night stay. There was a clear mismatch between what was shown in the photos and what was actually provided. There was almost no space to do anything other than lie in bed. The TV was also useless, with outdated apps and no working channels. A “perfect 4-day stay” :( The room was also very noisy — I could hear every sound from the neighbours’ bathroom, even their conversations. I would never return to this place. Some positives: the location is really good, and water was provided, which was a nice touch.
