In your marketing, you show garden space which one assumes all guests get some access too. But in fact it is only accommodation from the Manor House that can have access to via larger units. I found that disappointing when we arrived. And the single rooms are very small. Location was great, breakfast good, staff accommodating.

Great breakfast service. Comfortable rooms

I stayed here the year before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room I stayed in this year didn’t feel quite as comfortable. The bathtub shower are slightly raised up, I could see it being a little less safe getting in and out for someone that is physically limited. The bed, while very comfortable, extended beyond the bathroom entry and therefore felt squeezed into place. Breakfast was generous but my coffee that’s served in a bodum leaked coffee grounds. Small things I realize, but enough not to rate it excellent.

Lovely hotel. Staff were excellent. Room was cozy and very clean. Hotel breakfast was very tasty and filling. Beautiful area and easy to get around without car - we used bus and train. Would recommend. Can’t wait to return

This is a great place to stay, everything about it.

Really enjoyed our stay here, and can recommend the breakfast choices. Close enough to walk into Bourton-on-the-Water to visit the attractions there.

Whilst a very comfortable stay, this place was just a guest house. No personal touches and no staff on site except at breakfast and check in. I was not aware of any common areas to sit in. You come in and go to your room -that's it. Ok for a 2 night stay but probably not longer.

Very welcoming environment. Excellent breakfast. Pub just three doors down street for dinner or drinks.

Incredible stay!

Our stay at the Lansdowne was wonderful- Corrine and Casey couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming. The breakfasts are delicious and the room was very comfortable, although a tad small for two of us. The building was built mid-1800’s and there is no lift — if you have mobility issues request a ground floor room.

The Landsdowne was a great experience from start to finish. Corinne was amazing and extremely hospitable. I have already recommended this B&B to many family and friends.

Charming

Absolutely wonderful! Parking was easy, rooms were extremely comfortable. Corriene is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and all around splendid. The breakfast options are plentiful and delicious! An absolute gem in the Cotswolds.

I stayed here for a friends wedding so booked one of the single rooms. It’s a great size and has everything you need. The addition of fresh milk in the room for your tea and coffee is a nice touch. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, quiet but central location. The breakfast is fantastic, lots of choice and made to order. Great little b&b. Would recommend staying here.

Wonderful Stay at The Lansdowne Guest House – Warm Hospitality & Perfect Location We stayed at The Lansdowne Guest House in Bourton-on-the-Water from May 15 to May 17, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were absolutely amazing — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure every guest had a great experience. They went out of their way to offer recommendations for local restaurants, tourist spots, and things to do in the area. It was clear they took pride in their work and truly cared about their guests. Every morning started with a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast made to order, which was a lovely touch. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. one particularly thoughtful touch was the fresh milk provided in our room every day — a small detail that made a big difference. The location was also perfect — very quiet and peaceful, yet just a short 5-minute walk from the heart of town and the local bus stop, making it easy to explore. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Cotswolds. We would absolutely stay here again!

A LOVELY STAY, ALL THE WAY AROUND!

Very well located in short walking distance to High Street, Burton on the Water.

Breakfast was INCREDIBLE!!! The hospitality provided by the lovely young lady that checked us in, carried our suitcase up the stairs, and served our breakfast was TOP NOTCH. It was very convenient to be able to have a place to park our car. Highly recommend!!!

Overall pleasant. Only one toilet provided on our three night stay for two people. Had to purchase our own until we decided to ask for more. Small gestures like these make a difference. Double bed was lopsided n very uncomfortable so lost out on decent sleep.

A lovely place to stay, close to restaurants etc. but just far enough from the centre of town to be quiet and peaceful. Excellent staff and a very caring environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights there.

This was such a great hotel. Very clean, quiet and the breakfast was outstanding. The village was walkable and so quaint. I would stay during the week as the weekend was really crowded in town. Lovely hotel

We arrived early and our room was ready. We were greeted by Corrine. So polite and helpful. Our room was amazing. They knew it was our anniversary and we had swans and petals on our bed!! The bed was so comfortable - we had a great nights sleep. With parking available ir was only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bourton on the Water. Breakfast was wonderful. We'll definitely be returning!
